This post office has helped me out enormously. I can't get packages at my apartment without a huge hassle, and this post office has helped me out on numerous occasions. I got a post office box so I could more easily get mail (they even told me how to circumvent when somewhere won't take an order with a PO box: put the actual address of the post office, then put #yourboxnumber). They are super patient and so much more reliable than FedEx or UPS, who bungle all the packages sent to my house. Long live the USPS.

How do you lose a package? Apparently they couldn’t deliver my package due to my “dog” but dog was on leash and you can clearly see he’s on a leash and they take days to deliver and now apparently it’s lost worst service ever and when I called the post office the lady said it’s fine to come pick it up ( even tho I paid for handling and shipping) so I go and they don’t see nothing or can’t find it so yes I’m mad because it’s a gift present

I want to recognize and thank the rural Route Carrier for my 85 yr old Mother in Law around Pleasant Grove & N. County Line Rd. I came down from Dallas to install a mailbox after she had maintained a p.O. Box for over 25 yrs. She took time to instruct me how to properly place the box on the roadside and was very friendly as had been our experiences with the main post office downtown. 5 STARS!

This post office dosen't run the mail everyday of the week. They say they do but for multiple weeks the mail has not been delivered at least one day a week.

Staff was friendly even during the holidays. Assisted with muti needs each visit and always with ease. Lobby is clean and stocked with shipping boxes.

Fantastic service! Went to the post office to mail a passport renewal application, the employee there noticed that I had missed a form and went above and beyond to get me the form and show me what I had missed, including double-checking I had everything required for it.

Please disregard the negative reviews. My daughters and I went today to go process our passport applications. The staff was personable, professional, and went above and beyond to assist my family today. I can’t thank them enough for the genuine kindness that they bestowed upon us today! Hands down the best customer service I’ve experienced in a while!

If there was a negative star, Elgin USPS would get it. This time, I can't find the package at all....shows delivered to front porch/door at 6:25PM today. It was a special gift....Elgin USPS has the worst service there is, and that's insulting to worst service!!!!!

A year later and the same issues continue. Sometimes if you call over and over someone (might) answer. Today after the second call attempt, I talked to the post master Roy, who when I told him my complaints he said “this is the first time” he has heard of it. I know I have personally complained to him about my packages being misdelivered or not picked up before. I run a small business and have shipping and handling time frames I have to adhere to. They are costing me money every time they fail to pick up a package or I have to issue a refund everytime a package gets lost. It’s clear that they don’t care don’t waste your time here.
