We paddled to West End Marina and ate at the Downstairs Sandbar! It was absolutely delicious. We LOVED everything that was ordered. The Ceviche was our favorite, definitely try it. The portions were generous and the prices are fair. Our waiter was very friendly and the service was fast! 10 out of 10!

The space and the service was great! But the prices were super high for the quality and amount. Margarita was too weak and the sea-food nachos was mostly only nachos… and not very good ones. Obviously very economical with the toppings. Can’t recommend this place.

Very Impressed! WoW! Highly Recommended! Walked in with 2 Dogs and nobody on staff batted an eye. Great sunset dinner! Kid-friendliness: Very Family oriented even for Dogs.

We had a nice dinner with the at the West End Martina in early May of 2022. As the downstairs eating area was closed (make sure to check their timetable) we were up on a balcony on the second floor enjoying the ambiance of marina life with some light country tunes from the bar. The waiter was real pleasant and easy to chat with. Beer selection is great - make sure to try Tiki Wheat - a great local Galveston beer. As for food - I did not have high expectations and was not surprised that the food was not anything to write home about (I had a burger). But as I said, the ambiance here matters and we definitely had a fun night here.

We were in town for a fishing trip on a Tuesday, had a large group and they were able to serve us. Service was fast and quality. We had many appetizers, pickles/civeche/chips&salsa all good. All meals were said to be good. The beans and rice of the fish tacos was amazing. Drinks were quality, the spicy mango margarita was very good.

Had brunch there last weekend. Great service and tasty food for sure. The brunch menu is good as is the regular menu. Lots of good options and love eating under the palapas. Outside without being outside!

We had a nice lunch by the boat lifts. It was a beautiful day and the drinks were on point. I find the burger was too well done for my tastes, the bun was gigantic, and the fries were limp. Packed for Spring Break. GREAT VIBE. Tuna poke, fish tacos and, and the Tito's Bloody Mary were mixed to perfection. A little burn on the lips and a crisp finish, Delicious! Jen was in the weeds but kept us updated and let us know she was going to be right with us. Her customer service was in check. CHEERS West End!

Fine dining and craft cocktails at the West End Marina. Lots of covered, heated outdoor dining as well as a beautiful inside bar. Friendly folks to chat with and a nice place for lunch.

If you are visiting the West End of Galveston Island there are not a lot of choices to eat out at. This one is an option however the food is very hit or miss. The kitchen is also very slow so be prepared to wait for your food. The fish tacos are decent however the presentation leaves a bit to be desired. The menu also says they come with rice and beans. Be prepared for the rice in the beans. Kind of odd. The Wedge Salad may be the best thing on the menu. I returned for another visit recently ordering the smoked wings. Unfortunately they are not very good. They simply didn’t have much smoke flavor and were tough. I’d pass on them.
