The instructors at 413 Fitness are outstanding. They prepare workout programs that address the strength, mobility, cognitive and balance issues that PD patients have. If you have PD, then 413 Fitness is a must for your physical and mental well-being

Kristi Richards with 413 Fitness is a very caring, supportive and knowledgable coach. She understands the challenges of living with Parkinson's and will adjust the workout based on your physical abilities. She will push and encourage you to reach your maximum potential. Exercise is not optional for people with Parkinson's. It is mandatory, if you want to delay the progression of Parkinson's. 413 Fitness plays a big part in providing the exercise needed. Kristi and her staff of coaches are very creative when planning the workouts, making it enjoyable and never boring. I feel very fortunate to have this facility available for me to use.

I'm most appreciative of how coaches affirm and understand individual differences. Am in total agreement with other 5-star review comments.

I highly recommend 413 to anyone with PD. This is an excellent facility and program. They know their stuff and readily adapt to the differing needs of each member.

This is the third gym for Rock Steady Boxing in the Austin/Georgetown area. The coaches are all trained in stretching and routines tailored for Parkinson afflicted individuals. Activities are aimed at "range-of-motion", balance, coordination, and general strength using boxing equipment - punching bags, speed bags, balance balls, weights, jump ropes, etc in a non-contact method (no students are punched). All the students are Parkinson's patients so everyone is supportive and celebrates each other's achievements. The coaches offer instruction, encouragement and fun. The facility is well equipped and the coaches provide well varied activity circuits with timers.and music. Many weekday and Saturday classes are available and open to all students. As a Parkinson's patient, I look forward to the classes and appreciate my own physical improvements and developing friendships. Thank you Kristi and your other dedicated coaches.

Rock Steady Boxing Austin at Shell Road in Georgetown, TX has been a Godsend in our lives. The gym so bright and cheerful and roomy. The coaches are so caring and professional, well trained and personable. We cannot say enough good things about them. They make every day a new experience in boxing and doing the kind of exercise that we need to keep mobile and balanced and strong. The boxers are all wonderful people and so supportive of each other. To be able to work with other people who are in the "same boat" as we are really helps lift our spirits as we fight Parkinson's disease. If you or a loved one has Parkinson's, you need to give one of the 4 Rock Steady Austin locations a try--you won't regret it.

After about a year and a half of participation in this program, I cannot say enough good about it. The non-contact physical exercise program, designed for those with Parkinson's Disease (PD) is, by itself, extraordinary; but in addition to that, the great coaches, the positive atmosphere and attitudes, the encouragement, the personal attention, the fun, and the camaraderie make it an essential part of my fight against PD. The head coach and founder of RSB Austin (and Georgetown), Kristi Richards is wholly committed to each "fighter," regardless of age or their PD stage. Her expertise is exceptional and her enthusiasm is contagious. RSB is a true necessity in my life. I encourage anyone with PD to ask for an assessment and join us. It truly makes a difference

I drive 80 miles round trip, twice a week for these classes taught by very knowledgeable instructors who also make the classes fun. Bottom line is i would attend these classes even if I had to drive 100 miles round trip twice a week
