On an early summer Saturday afternoon motorcycle ride through the small Texas town of Granger, we stopped at the “waterin’ hole and feed bag” restaurant for a bite to eat and to sit in the shade. There are two pool tables inside, a large tv playing City Slickers and a pack n play for your littles if they need a break instead of a high chair- (which are also on hand. ) Tables for four are scattered in the front, then the bar runs down the side. We ordered a loaded baked potato, a chicken quesadilla, taco salad and a side of tater tots Although there was no unsweet tea we did get bottled water in a Coosie so that’s fun! The food was great -and that’s all that really matters! Yum! It’s a fun place to sit a spell and eat a bit - bring a marker to sign the walls! those with allergies beware- There is a cat on-site/inside.

The hamburgers and onion rings were delicious. Took a while to get the food, but I was prepared for that and it was worth the wait. I got the double burger but didn't know it would be so big. We'll be back.

The small town of Granger is almost non existent, but, this little no frills restaurant makes great sandwiches, fries, onion rings, and burgers. The service was great! The one waitress has her hands full during the busy time, so a little patience is best. It seems to have local regulars who gather at the bar. You would see this at any small agricultural town in the USA.

Very nice little place to stop for a meal. Everything was fresh and yummy. The chicken tenders were so good. The lady was very nice as well that took care of us. Would definitely go again.

Thick, juicy burgers, a double will make you uncomfortable full. The fried pickles and fried mushrooms were delectable, but the French fries were just regular fries. The pickles were thin cut dill chips and the flavor goes so well with ranch

Went to check it out as I'm new in the area will NEVER RETURN. Slow service cat fed and watered inside. Food was low quality with a large price tag. My dog wouldn't even eat the food when brought the food home. $10 for 1 fish filet and some instant mash potatoes. Service was extremely slow took 20 minutes to get a menu and have drink order taken. Took 45 minutes to cook the order and should only have taken 10 minutes as I was the only one ordering food. Recommend skipping this experience.

Completely unpretentious and real, friendly and down to earth. I live in Cedar Park and have driven to The Waterin Hole a few times just for the cheeseburgers. I drank a beer and watched TV, and while I was eating my AAAMAZING cheeseburger, the resident kitty visited for her supper too. Anyone who puts out a plate for a cat is just good people. Fed my belly and my soul, very well thank you!

Very disappointed. I ordered the catfish basket with mash potatoes. Fish was basic, the tartor sauce had too much mustard. The green beans, idk what was up with them...maybe the water they were cooked in, just gross. Mash potatoes were NOTHING to write about.I didn't get my hushpuppies. And we got fried pickles... Mostly crumbs...the few pickles were way too thin. The burger was mediocre. Won't be back.

Incredible Fish sandwich , Onion rings are killer. All the foods real good. Ice cold beer and nice folks.
