Not sure how their cakes taste. They made an error on two cakes we ordered, and blamed us for the mistake. They are difficult to communicate with, their phone lines were not functioning, and there is not consistent communication through Facebook. They will not provide a refund, even if the cakes have yet to be made. They were very rude and snobby when speaking to them in person. Ordered from HEB instead!

2/16/2021 _ 3 days now into a deep freeze My Sons B Day as well went from Los Fresnos to Harlingen for an Emergency Last Minute Birthday cake 😆 stoped at 6 bakery's along the way 3 in Los Fresnos 3 in Herlingen and Gloria's had it . Nice People and Good Delicious Cakes. Thanks

So I had googled cake services around me since I am not from the area and I came across Gloria’s Specialty cakes. I must say I am glad they took my order sort of last minute (3 days before event) and they were definitely friendly BUT their cakes where just ok. The taste was generic nothing special. I feel like I would have gotten a tastier cake at H-E-B.

Based on the good reviews I decided to adventure and buy a cake from this place for my daughter’s birthday. The lady that helped me was rude and clearly didn’t want to help. The cake was ok, and for the price and horrible service, HEB or Sam’s are a much better option. Never going back.

I’ve order multiple cakes & cake slices from this place and have never been dissatisfied or disappointed in any way. You have to pay for quality and that’s what you get here! Forever my go to cake when In the RGV Area

Helpful staff and extremely good cakes; good prices too. Had the strawberry filling for my daughters birthday and everyone throughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
