Still the best Crossfit box in DFW. Flexible schedule, big selection of equipment, large facility so there is always open space for wallball, box jump, squats, pullups. Plus a great Strongman program.

I joined Crossfit817 in June 2020 when gyms re-opened as a result of the pandemic. It has changed my life! With several class time options, spacious gym and plenty of equipment, the programming is designed to fit any fitness level. I am over 50 with an unrepaired knee injury so this is important. I am a lifer now!

My husband and I dropped in from out of town over the holidays and loved this gym. The members and coaches were wonderful and very welcoming. The coaching and programming were equally excellent. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town visiting family.

Let me start by saying this place is by far the best CrossFit gym I have ever stepped foot in. I became a member a couple of months ago, the only reason I am no long a member is because my husband is in the service and we got stationed out of state. When I first walked in and saw everything going on I felt so intimidated but Josh greeted me and instantly made me feel at home. Erik is I believe the owner and he is also incredibly involved and just a kind person. Monica was my coach and I can honestly say she is the most down to earth, and loving person I have ever met. She cares about all of us in her class and always goes above and beyond. I have not a single bad thing to say about CrossFit 817, they have changed my life for the better. If you are searching for a great gym, look no further.

I’ve been at 817 for over 2 years and can’t see myself at any other gym as long as I do CrossFit. The owners and coaches care for each individual as a member of their own family. The programming is fun, balanced, and challenging. I love Crossfit 817!
