This is a family owned business. Which I respect, because I too have a family owned business. It kills me to have to leave a review. I’ve spoken too and been disrespected/ hung up on by Calvin the father of the shoppe. They say they “insure” their packages but they don’t, so when my package went missing, he made no effort to try and receive the insured value he says was placed on the package. Therefore I had to pay for shipping twice and my medicine twice as well. He went ahead and gave me my last refill, sent it to me and charged my card without my PERMISSION. (My card company dealt with that) And now he no longer provides me a service. I’ve called and “apologized” for something I didn’t even do. Must’ve thought I was lying. The folks here aren’t very friendly when people have questions. Hello - I see your reply, I was certainly not abrasive. I asked the shop staff why my Rx was “on hold” as she said it was, she told me she “just answers the phone” and couldn’t answer the question, so I asked for a staff who could. I was surprised when the other staff came out and was already seemingly annoyed, and asked her not to speak with me rudely; as when the she came out, she rudely stated they’d called on 12/6, without greeting me at all. I stopped this other staff person, smiled, and said hello, then asked to be treated with respect. That is not abrasive. I didn’t miss the call from the shop - maybe it was made but I didn’t receive. It was a simple misunderstanding that didn’t need to be handled as such a problem by the staff here. Ultimately anyone reading these reviews can see the staff are defensive; I came in as a customer and was certainly not looking for trouble or to be treated with disrespect. Reducing my review from 2 to 1 star. Thank you!

My husband and I finally stopped by here today and are so glad we did! Should have came by sooner! Calvin was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He thoroughly answered all of our questions. We will absolutely be back in the future!

Wanted to serve a local small business however... 1) wanted written credit card or bank info in advance which I refused but offered to pay in advance via a credit card reader; 2) was told they couldn't provide a price until they mixed the compound or put it into a system so they would not allow not me to pay in advance; 3) Would not provide the prescription which I hand carried in to them to another pharmacy nor give the prescription back to me (revenge of not doing business with them) 4) and most of all the attitude of how I was treated for questioning their process of not providing a secure method of payment without risk of compromising my personal data It isn't acceptable in this day to ever fill out any form with private financial data on it even if they say they'll shred it. Protect your customer the same way that you want your business to be protected. Thankfully customers have choices. Update: Now I am just disgusted with the lies in the response. I was not upset and only stated it had taken a while to get a dr appt hence was in need of the compound as I had run out. A simple statement so don't turn it into something it wasn't. I was never asked for additional info except the financial info which I refused. A man called me back and was outright rude saying he needed additional information which was NEVER requested when I went in. Since you wouldn't give me my prescription back nor transfer it to another pharmacy, my new pharmacy kindly called the doctor to get it. Apparently I'm not the only person this business has treated poorly based on other comments I've received. Attitude and customer service...word gets out in small towns.

Love this compounding pharmacy. Knowledgeable, caring, professional family business. Filled my Rx fast and cheaper than my previous out of state one. A great resource. Happy they're here in Kerrville TX!
