Something is wrong at HEB Pharmacy in Mont Belview. I have been a customer for 4 or 5 years. Same prescription, no changes. Always got a text message when my prescription was ready and always on time. 4 months ago something changed, first HEB lost my doctors call to renew the same prescription, I had the doctor recall it in again, always been 6 to 12 months of refills. I get one refill, a month goes by no refill. Called, OH we forgot to set to auto refill. Next month no refill, call, takes 3 days to fill, next month call again, refill late again, asked them to fix the problem, this month, refill due on the 29, no text on the 31st, call refill not ready and late again. I have to call every month. My expectations are simple, refill ready on due date and send text to my phone. Same as every other pharmacy in the country.

I love the staff. They are helpful and kind even with the volume of prescriptions they fill. Pharmacy app has a glitch sometimes, but I have learned, after requesting refill, I log off and then sign back in to make sure it registered. Love my HEB PHARMACY!!

If you are in immediate need of a prescription, do not get it filled at an HEB pharmacy. It doesn't matter what it is, common or not... antibiotics, blood pressure, anti-inflammatories, etc... it will be at minimum next day or possibly several days before it's filled. My very 1st job was in a pharmacy and the medicine stayed stocked. HEB seems to have a different business model and it's not patient first. I need to find a different pharmacy, although it will be out of my way to get it, I'd rather a pharmacy that cares.

HEB use to do a Great Job.. WHEN Allison is/was there. Seems lately she hasn't been around Much.... My prescription was called in day's ago... And I recieved a call Wednesday and was told it would be ready Fri... OMGOSH!!!! Ok today is Friday and their telling me they have 4-500 prescriptions ahead of my son's... Covid and antibiotics... My son's meds are just as important.. BC they control epilepsy... Which can be fatal... However their saying maybe Tonight.. but I've been through this many times and it's always at closing time... If not tonight.. Laura (who is for the most part, VERY RUDE) told me it would be tomorrow..AND I would receive a txt/call which never happens... we Will be changing pharmacy's on Monday... They no longer have it together and really could care less... I Will miss Allison bc she knows her job... But the other's truly are there for a check...you can call this pharmacy with a question and call 3-4 different time's.. same question and each time receive a totally different answer... All staff need to be trained bc it's clear their not on the same page.. Allison is truly the only one who really knows what she's talking about.. and knows alot about alot.. LIKE i was saying.. 4 yrs ago they were the best.. Allison #1.. but today it's VERY unorganized!! I never had to wait a day to receive my meds.... Now it's several.. at best!

Prescriptions take hours to fill. I will call and ask, and they will still not be ready. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to leave empty handed or call back because I never get a notification that they are ready. And today, for the first time, I finally got a text notification, it’s 6 minutes before closing. Who can get there in 6 minutes! And of course I tried to go and and she said, we’re closed. And then on my way home I get another text notification. Seriously, you’re closed.

The good is... Staff is friendly. The bad is...that you will almost never get your prescription on the same day unless it is called in before 2. And if it happens to be for something for pain. Lol needed after you had surgery. It will not get filled until after 1. If not filled that day. Then not until after 1 the next day. The good is.. Signing up for text alerts saves me calling to see if it is ready before making the trip up there. Sometimes, I can call and check on the ones missing and they might rush to get it done. Rarely do I get all prescriptions in the same day even though t they are sent at same time. And bow one I get monthly is several days after the others because they had to order it and of course they had to order it messing up being able to make one trip and done. But staff has always been friendly. It's just super slow to fill.

Called pharmacy earlier today for a vaccine information, tech who answered stated no appointment is needed. Pharmacist on duty denied rendering service as she has "closing duties in about 15 minutes" Thank you for discriminating your customers and offering service as you see fit and denying treatment for no apparent reason. As a pharmacist you are liable and so is HEB. The protocol for needing a tetanus vaccine is 48 hours after injury and tetanus sets into body. I literally have hours left before my time is up. My jaw has been having spasms as a result. In severe cases this can be life threatening. I spoke with "Steve" the store manager and he also agreed that a service should be offered while pharmacy was still open and that he would have a "talk" with the pharmacy department. I will hold HEB and pharmacist on duty liable for any further injuries and denying care for no valid reason. 10-20-20 8:05pm-8:25pm It was 8:05pm when I stood in line, no other customer was in line and two people were working.

This new pharmacy has a great staff of Pharmacist and Tech partners. I am excited to see what HEB, and this pharmacy in particular will offer to the Mont Belvieu community.
