Really amazing BBQ. Can’t say that anything is bad. The ranch style beans are great, I would think that they are award winning. Would be 5 stars but JAZ forgot our RIBS. Nextime we are in town I hope to try the Ribs. A few of our group also order the baked potatoes with chopped brisket and they didn’t have anything bad to say. Highlights: Beans are on point! Brisket is fantastic m. The original sauce is great. Negatives: the Coleslaw is different (mixed opinions). The “H” labeled sauce is so-so. Didn’t get ribs… Will be back!

You want some of this BBQ!! This BBQ was so good and a great way to celebrate Juneteenth!! The ribs were tender, smoked, and falling off the bone! Sausage, chicken, potato salad and greens beans were soooo good! The brown butter pound cake was amazing!! The sweet potato pie was so good! This BBQ is the spot!!

One of my all time favorite BBQ spots! Whether it’s the chopped brisket sandwich or their baked potatoes whatever you get is going to be amazing! Service is also top notch and they have 3 different BBQ sauces to choose from. You can’t go wrong with this BBQ!

Okay to be honest this place you like the pecan flavor smoke overdose to for sure I don't know I didn't seem to have a problem with it other people I know it's just too much way too much maybe that's what makes it unique. Pickle juice yeah hope you like pickle juice because it pretty much touches everything like oil touches everything in the world today so yeah. Other than that it was very friendly atmosphere people seem to be know what they were doing and the other customers seem to be happy nobody looked at me more funny when I walk through the door like some establishments that I get. So it's really hard to judge your opinion based upon someone else's opinion especially when it comes to cuisine because like everybody's palette is different even twins don't like the same things so I suggest you go try it and let me know what you think.

Today is June 4, 2022 it was our 1st time here. We usually go to Juniors or Soulmans but this place here beats them imo. We had the sausage, brisket and ribs with spicy sauce and it was the best Barbecue I’ve had in years. The spicy sauce is delicious. We will be back.

Ordered takeout last night and WOW! Had a pound of brisket, a pound of pulled pork and sides of ranch beans and mac n chz. Everything was awesome! Great smokey taste and very moist meats. Staff was nice and friendly. Definitely our new once a week smoke/bbq go to for to go restaurant. We love supporting our local small businesses and always opt for them instead of the chains. Great job Frank's!

Great barbecue. The potato was so big, filled with meat. Got free sandwiches because son and husband ate a giant three meat potato. I'm just eating the sandwich, 3 days later and is still good. Staff is down home and make you feel like family. My only negative is the desserts are not the best.

I was very sad after buying brisket and sausage here. I had really high hopes. This place takes short cuts with their food. My briskey was barely smoked, had no bark, and no smoke ring. The sausage was overcooked and tasted like ashes.

Oh my God!!!! Sweet baby Jesus where has this place been? The BEST BBQ EVER!!! And the sweet ladies that take care of this place Amazing! And just when I thought I couldn’t eat anymore….. Brown Butter Pound Cake with ice cream… 💖💖💖 If you find yourself in Ovilla you MUST stop and eat here!!!!

If you haven't eaten BBQ here yet you need to!!! Omg so freaking delicious!! They make their fried okra FRESH! Mac and cheese is delicious! I was iffy at first but I'm so glad I stopped in. And their BBQ is off the chain! The tangy BBQ sauce is so far my favorite! They are friendly and have great customer service. I highly recommend this place!
