After a dip in the pool, my buddies and I were hungry for BBQ. Found this place close by and decided to give it a shot. No regrets, had the brisket plate and it was so good. Their home-made sauce was very tasty and the staff were polite, would recommend if you live in the area.

We picked up to go and feed a family of 10 ppl. Everything was good and cooked perfectly. They provided plates, spoons, forks. We even bought to gallons of their tea so refreshing. We ordered; chicken,brisket,3 sausage links, pork ribs ,beef ribs ,Mac n cheese, potato salad, cream corn and french fries. Oh and we also got bread a bottle of their barbecue sauce.Pirooz was so nice and helpful we appreciate his good service.

I ordered the 1 meat plate (no 2 meat plate on menu) and added a sausage link with the brisket, 2 sides which were potato salad and green beans. The brisket was good but not smokey. (It almost tasted like it was oven cooked). The potato salad looked like mashed potatoes but did taste like potato salad and was pretty good. The green beans were in some kind of oil with seasoning which I did not care for at all. I probably will not go back.

I googled for restaurants near me and this popped up. I always love good BBQ so i decided to check it out. When i pulled into the parking lot, the place was empty. Had me a little worried that there wouldn't be anybody here at lunchtime but i thought, wth and tried it anyway. I got the brisket platter that came with two sides. It was so good! I'll definitely come back!

Hidden BBQ restaurant in a weird location. Ramshackle old wooden building is in contrast to a nicely updated comfortable interior. This is not a meat market, but an actual restaurant with table service. Food is served as a plate (meat + 2 sides) with a drink for about $12. I ordered the brisket plate, my wife ordered the pork ribs, and we split an order of chicken wings (sharing all with our young son). The brisket was fall-apart tender with a beautiful smoke ring. I wasn't a huge fan of their bbq sauce, which couldn't make up its mind whether to be sweet or spicy. Fortunately the ribs had a very flavorful dry rub and didn't need sauce (neither did the brisket). The chicken wings arrived hot, but my wife sent them back to get them crisper. All meats were so "fall off the bone" that I suspected them of being partially steamed in a slow cooker, but I didn't taste that tell-tale watered down flavor of steamed meat, just smoke. The sides we had were all perfect examples of Texas BBQ classics. Potato salad had toothsome bites of potatoes, not under or overcooked, coleslaw was crisp and peppery and not drowned in mayonnaise. Fries were crispy and big, creamed corn was tasty and not mushy. Will try the beans next time. Everything served with standard pickles, onions, and bread. Service was super friendly, especially for a one-man-show (Pirooz cooked and served for us, apparently the other guy didn't show up for lunch shift on a Sunday). This restaurant kept the same name, but has been open under new ownership for about a year. After years of seeing this dodgy looking building next to the nearly defunct Wonderland mall, we finally decided to give it a try (mostly because they were open on a Sunday afternoon) and we're sure glad we did.

Ordered to go. Wait wasn't as long as I thought it would be. The guy working there was very friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the air conditioner is probably on high because it was a very cool and comfortable temperature, especially compared to outside. Got the ribs and they were good! Fall off the bone! We also got the marbled brisket and that was so tender that it would break apart sometimes. Sausage was good. The fries were good and the coleslaw was better then expected. I don't usually eat coleslaw so I got the 8oz for just my wife, but it was really good and she got mad because I ate most of it, lol. We also got the garlic cheese bread, that was enjoyable as well. Maybe they could offer a marinara sauce for dipping.
