Too slow and overcrowded. Only one person is working the counter. Line is out the door

Lived in neighborhood 12 years and this place gets worse and worse. Dirty, unfriendly, run by a demigod. Horrible hours. too small, too many people.

They are closed from 1-2pm. They say 1:30pm open again after lunch break but since it’s an one man show he can reopen whenever he wants. Showed up at 1:45pm it was still closed. You have been warned.

Was a democrat until I experienced the service here.

Never answers the phone and their voicemail box is full. I've had my new drivers license sent by public safety 3 times and each time it's been returned by the post office with zero explanation. There's apparently no way to co tact them other than going in persom. I support the post office as an institution but this particular office is a disgrace.

John is awesome. Make sure to not put big packages in the drop in/mail slot … this will cause more work for USPS staff…But kindly put the packages on the front counter. Remember the post office is not always open…don’t blame USPS. Everyone has to take a lunch… 1:00- 130. Thank you USPS

I ship items out most days. This post office is by far the best and the reason is very simple JOHN! Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, but most importantly always service with a smile. He's makes my visits to the post office enjoyable. Can't say enough about John. On top of all this there's always great music playing. Thank you so much for all the hard work and your patients. You make this place amazing!

John is the solo employee and he’s great.. but show up with your items ready to go, not unboxed needing advice! This location desperately needs a machine to offset long lines, but USPS refuses to give it one. I have tried everything but you can almost always expect a 15-45 minute line.

It was my first time at this location when I came after lunch time on 09/17/20. It was a long line and only one person working. I was sending very important paperwork vis certified mail with return receipt first time and asked the gentleman at the front what to do with those (they were filled and ready to go) and how many stamps I need to put on the letter. He acted all annoyed and dismissive towards me. Which I don’t appreciate. Then he made mistake in the amount on the money order I purchased. If I haven’t noticed it right the way, I wouldn’t be able to purchase additional money order and send the urgent paperwork that day because the office was closing. He didn’t apologized or anything. When I asked him what time this location was closing he just ignored me, while later had no problem answering questions of another lady. This is unbelievable! Is being nice, informative and helpful is too much to ask from USPS front desk representative?

Because of its size, I get that the hours are a bit limited. It's more like a kiosk for convenience for the neighborhood and surrounding businesses. The man that works there is always super friendly, even when there's a long line at lunch. People should really try and come prepared. The line only moves as slow as the customers, really. A+ for any USPS office I've ever been.
