Not a very clean store. The showers rooms are very hot. Not much air coming out out air-conditioning vents. Exhaust fans not working or not turned on. Not much air coming from fan in shower room due to it being extremely dusty.

Stopped for gas and some quick lunch options. Very happy to find that they had good salads and fresh fruit. Facility was very clean, well organized and the staff was very helpful and friendly -- especially Jennifer, who was greeting every customer with a smile and went out of her way to be helpful.

Everyone in here seems to be unhappy! From night crew to morning just horrible. Not one person with a smile on their face. You ask a question you get a unnecessary, unwarranted smart response back. Even the managers are angry. I don't understand why you would work a job that deals with people on a constant basis if you're unhappy there. What's sad is the manager is apart of the madness! I'm now wondering about the owners!? I've been to plenty of pilots where the workers are upbeat, helpful and are smiling! Also the supposedly have Cinnabon but noone is working the station so nothing fresh is being made. Do you understand that people stop based on what your store offers? Moving forward I'll be sure to never stop at this Vega Texas location, nor my other driver friends. Only thing good was the man who takes care of the showers. He was kinda short, blonde hair mid age. He smiled and offered a extra towel, plus he called me ma'am lol... Other than that thumbs down!

Shower cleaning guy not cleaning the showers and making out with his girl near the laundry area. Cashier also saw them do it. 5 showers empty and 11 waiting. Should know how to respect others time.

This location made me prepay for my gas which I didn't find super convenient. Update: check credit card if it makes you do that. Store was cleaning and was greeted at the door

Great Pilot to stop at for RVs. They have an auto entrance, truck entrance, and an RV entrance! They have two pull through pumping stations just for RVs. This includes a close entrance to the gas station itself, a grassy area to walk doggos, water, air, windshield washing, and pay-to-dump station. I wish all the travel stations were set up this nicely for RVs as well!!!

The store at 6am is dirty and not a drop of coffee. I've not seen such piss poor cleanliness. No care that there is no coffee.... when I approached staff about it, they shrugged and only went to fix it when I threatened to report it. Sarcastically the lady says "tell". Look at the pictures and imagine the coffee machines are empty.

*UPDATE* 8/14/2021 It's so much better than my last visit, everything was clean, well stocked, the food was fresh & friendly employees. Great job management 🙌 This morning I'll add 2 more stars while updating this review. It's usually always a mess here, parking is a mess, bathrooms are a mess, floors, are a mess, counters are a mess, just a messy place.

I drove up to this pilot this morning at 2 am looking to park at a reserved parking spot,I noticed a car (4 wheeler) taking up one of the reserved parking spots. I walked up to the driver and politely asked him if he can move his car so that i can back into that same spot,he said “there’s plenty of spots available” walked up to fuel desk and they said he was allowed to park there, that manager was ok with it. Turns out that the driver of this car was a employee of pilot. Meanwhile there was a few trucks driving around the parking lot looking for parking. Its not fair that us truck drivers have to put up with 4 wheelers on the road all day long and now this? Smh. And the showers were garbage! Btw

Restrooms could use a cleaning. They seemed quite dirty. But it is a nice place to stop on long travels. Pilot is always good. Cheap gas prices. But, I mean, it is in Texas so I feel like that’s not a fair assessment. Plenty of fuel pumps, not overcrowded like you see a lot of places. Overall, you should stop here vs other places on the way to Amarillo.
