Our a/c had gone out and it was 92 degrees outside the car and rising quickly as we drove south. No idea how hot it was inside the car, but we couldn't open the windows on I-15 and it was miserable. We had driven 1.5 hours without a/c when we got to Fillmore and I decided to check out Dearden Auto Repair. I couldn't believe it but they took us right away, diagnosed the problem, and re-charged our a/c on the spot. They were friendly, kind, and competent, and did not price gouge me for the service. They were so wonderful! I was about halfway through a road trip when my check engine light came on. I stopped in to have it looked at at 5:15 (they close at 6) they didnt even hesitate to do everything in there power to fix my O2 sensor and get me back on the road in 45 minutes. I would have been stranded overnight if not for their help. I can’t thank them enough for making a very stressful situation stress free. Service: Engine repair

The water pump exploded in our Chevy truck. It took out the radiator the fan and multiple belts and hoses. They diagnosed, acquired all the parts, and fixed our truck in one day. The truck is running fine and we are very thankful that they took such good care of us. I highly recommend them. Service: Auto maintenance

James was an absolute lifesaver for my husband and I last Monday! We hit a piece of brake drum that had fallen from a semi-truck on Route 24 about 5 miles west of Hanksville on our motorcycle (rental from Las Vegas), tore a hole in the bottom of the engine, transmission fluid leaking, and wouldn't start back up. We were able to call roadside assistance (thank goodness I had some cell service), they had to call around to find a tow service that would take the job. With 90+ degree heat and 30-40mph winds, we got a ride into Hanksville to get out of the weather. Dearden Towing took on the job, and James started the 3 hour drive to get to us (coming from Fillmore). The person I talked with on the phone at Dearden was great also, she quickly understood the situation, where we were, and how long it would take James to get to us, giving us a pretty accurate ETA. He picked up the motorcycle on the way, then picked us up at Stan's Burger Shack and gas station, and drove us 3.5 hours north to Salt Lake City (nearest place to return motorcycle). And kindly drove us another 6 miles to the rental car place, before finally heading back to Fillmore (in heavy rain and thunder/lightning) - making his drive time for the day at easily 10 hours! He was super nice, pleasant, kind, easy to talk with, and safely drove us through heavy winds and some incoming storms all the way up to SLC. We are so appreciative of James and his kindness! These guys are unbelievable and gave the best service I’ve ever had. They were there in 35 mins and fixed me up so I could make it back to there shop to fix my trailer. Can’t say enough good things about these guys and I highly recommend them to anyone who’s broken down between st George and utah county. Call these guys first. They are experienced, work Miracles and we’re a pleasure to work with. You guys can come use my boat anytime. You rock and thank you for going the extra mile for me. You rock guys Joe

These guys were unreal. I was waiting for another tow company for 3 hours and got in touch with dearden and they showed up in 25 mins. Got me back on the road so I could make it to there shop to fix my blown bearings. The axle was ruined but because of these guys expertise and patients they fixed the problem so I could make it home and they literally saved my day. I would recommend anyone needing a tow or service repair you call them if your on the side of the road. They were overwhelmingly helpful and so nice to work with. The two brothers that own it are studs and I can’t say enough about them. Just call them if your broke down. No messing around no long waits on the side of the freeway. Just great service and excellent people to work with. Had our Alternator go out 30 miles out of Fillmore. Called Deardens and they had us picked up in less than an hour. It was mid day and they were pretty busy so we booked a hotel for the night expecting them to finish the next day. Got a call from them at 5:30 saying they are going to stay late and finish it so we could get back in the road first thing the next morning! Dropped the vehicle off at about 7 (1 hour after closing) which was fantastic. Great service, caring people. Looked up the repair prices and they were reasonable there as well. Would recommend them to anyone.

I broke down on the way home around Cedar City and had a AAA tow to Dearden a AAA shop in Fillmore. I called the shop and told the girl that answered the phone that I had my car towed there by AAA 2x. I asked the shop to diagnose a problem that caused the tow. The clerk called me back but i could not understand what she was saying was the problem was so i asked her to email me the work order with the problem. The car was not road worthy and should be towed back was the only thing I understood. I got the invoice from the clerk with no diagnosis and just the labor listed. I emailed a second time to list the problem and didn't get it. I paid 60 for a diagnosis with no diagnosis. I also should have gotten a 10 % AAA discount which i did not. She told me to call AAA too tow it back to me an hour away (Dearden a AAA Tow shop as well) . Now we both know that I am a AAA member for the third time. The tow was pretty fast. When I received the car back, I could see my license plate was missing. The tow driver, Tony himself, said he didn't know what happened but told me to check the front seat. There it was! Someone ripped the plate and frame out mounts and all while in the care of Dearden Auto and Tow. The responsible and professional thing to do would be to put the frame and plate back on. I spent $6.88 to buy new plastic mounts with screws. You owe me $12.88 (the mounts and 10% AAA discount) as well as what your diagnosis found about about the specified problem. A little more care should be taken with peoples cars. Services: Car towing, Transmission
