This is the best DMV I have ever encountered. It’s like a dream compared with others I have been to. The staff at the Hurricane DMV are nice and friendly. We forgot my sons birth certificate and the employee was so nice and encouraged us to run home and get it. He was still able to keep his appointment. Thank you!

Wow...went in for a renewal... got on line, filled out the renewal application, setup an appointment. It took less than ten minutes. Walked in...greeted by a friendly person at the counter handed by drivers license and the copy of the appointment email. Took my picture... handed me my paperwork and asked to set and wait just as my ticket number was called. Yet another friendly person...eye test...pay and I was done! Wonderful!

Make an appointment or bring a tent. As a waiter appointments that show late get priority. The employees move around like they just finished a Thanksgiving Day feast. 12 counters and 2 open. When you tell the receptionist you’re a walk-in she acted aggravated. I can grab a wait ticket just get to a counter and get it done! Added 2 stars because the person that I got was efficient and knowledgeable.

Surprisingly one of the best DMV visits I've had in a long time. I made an online appt. And didn't have to wait more than 10 min. The employee who helped me was quick and friendly

My girlfriend is from Las Vegas and went to go get a Driver's License from this DMV and somehow they made it to where she can't get a License from Nevada or Utah without retaking all or her Driver's permits and tests. I appreciate that they've said they're going to wave fees, but I feel two things: 1, shouldn't have happened in the 1st place, 2, we weren't the ones to make the mistake and we shouldn't have to fix it. I really liked this DMV compared to others, but this mistake is so massive and will cause such huge headaches that Im sad to say I gotta give it a 2 star rating.

Been here 3 times to try and get the title to my car sorted out. Each time they say since I don't have the paperwork on hand, they can't help and they kick me out. Now appointments are booked two weeks out, I'm apparently still missing paperwork none ever told me about, and the phone line apparently has been disconnected so I can't get an answer to what needs to happen now. Can't believe I miss the days of waiting in line for serval hours back when I was in Salt Lake..

Just had a very frustrating experience here. Due to my work schedule, I showed up an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment, and was told I'd have to be seen as a walk-in. Fair enough. I was told anybody with an appointment would be seen before me. Fair enough. After a 30 min wait, an employee finishes with a customer, makes eye contact with me (I'm sitting on the front row), looks behind me, and gets up and leaves. I look behind me, and the lobby is empty, AND all 3 employees who had been working are gone too. The employees come back when new customers with appointments show up and proceed to see them. 20 minutes later I am still waiting. At that point, I needed to leave due to the sheer frustration of the situation. So having an appointment is apparently the only way to be seen. Okay. Then, please, just say so at the front door!! Why tell me I can be a walk-in if you are going to intentionally skip me?

Oh Utah Department of motor vehicles hurricane Utah. Currently running very efficiently. If you need to speak with an official I suggest making an appointment online beforehand as this will dramatically reduce your wait time and they also may not see you unless you have one scheduled. They have a drive-through renewal for your vehicle. Anytime before 2 PM is relatively quick.
