Cashier, charged 3 extrat items, and since she bags them for you, you will only know when you get home or if you do not trust TJMaxx and check bill. My family always trusted TJMAXX, now we know what it is doing, and we do not trust them anymore. When trying to call number on bill no connection and good luck if your from out of vermont state. Unique place, you have clothes of course but seasonal and unique gifts, candy, home and garden items. The prices depend on what your buying but usually lower than other stores.

If you pick something up and there are other people in the store... Take it with you, lol. I picked up a bowl, put it down for a sec, turned right back around to grab it and someone else had snatched it. Got a totally adorable Halloween 🎃 apron though! Update: Great stuff. Great prices. I almost always have to buy stuff from/on Clearance here. Tonight I purchased a lotion that smells like banana runts 🍌

I have been a TJ Maxx customer for 25 years, starting in Virginia - After moving to Vermont, I found a TJ Maxx in Burlington. I have always liked the store in Burlington, but during the pandemic, I have liked them so much more. I started shopping on site when the store reopened- First, they follow the CDC guidelines, and are consistent- someone at the door makes sure that customers are masked, there is a capacity limit which is followed, there is a person who disinfects individual carts( large or small) for you. This is done so well and smoothly. There are guidelines on the floor to maintain order and social distancing, and plexiglass barriers at the jewelry counter and registers. That being said, providing a safe shopping experience- the best part of all- the attitude of the personnel!! Every time that I go to this store, I am greeted with smiles, I am helped with smiles and I am cashed out with smiles. This is always important, but even more so at this time of concern and confusion. I LIKE to shop here, look forward to stopping in and browsing, because regardless if I find something or not, I walk out feeling good. Again, that being said, the store has great things at great prices. I generally find something in the jewelry section- at wonderful prices! And the makeup section- where I can find high end makeup at discount prices! Lime Crime lip toppers at $5.99, for instance!! Housewares are priced so well, and there is a large fur baby section. And always, clothing!! So, If you are looking for a shopping experience that will make you smile and feel good in an uncertain time, you will definitely want to check out TJ Maxx in Burlington!!

Don't have many man clothes on clearance, but sometimes you can find good ones there in a regular price. I prefer Marshal's, for now...
