Absolutely the friendliest staff and most delicious food in the area! Waited less than 5 minutes for a table mid morning on a Sunday. There was a constant flow of people coming in to eat and getting takeout and everything that was cooking smelled so good - definitely will be coming back!!! And highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes, waffle, and strawberry banana French toast! Also the butter is like really good, not sure how to describe it but it’s the best butter I’ve ever had.

We love trying out local diners and Barnside was no exception! We were promptly seated and our server was right there to move us along our way of ordering and eating and making room for the other guests who were waiting for a table. The food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. If you order biscuits and gravy, the sausage comes on the side. I just slid it onto the biscuit plate, cut it up and enjoyed. There would be a 5th star but this is a Pepsi establishment and I'm a Coca Cola drinker. Sorry! We will be back to sample other menu items. Note: there is no designated handicap stall in the ladies room. Update 11/1/2022 As promised, we returned for lunch this time. Quite the different atmosphere this time as the restaurant was not as busy as the last time. We were promptly seated. Our food was delivered hot (steaming) and was tasty. Since they serve breakfast all day, one of us had blueberry pancakes and one of us had a reuben sandwich. Both were delicious. However, I wish the reuben had a little less meat (which was lean btw), more sauerkraut and russian dressing. But that's just me. I don't think. you can go wrong here and know we will be back to enjoy Barnside again.

I happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped by at lunchtime. I had the chipped beef omelet, and I was surprised by how delicious it was. Not dried out like most diner omelets, and it was steaming hot. Served with hash browns that were actually crispy. Fast, and cheaper than most diner food. And the wait staff was very nice. Great place!

I came today to have my breakfast like usually this is the second time the manager she did not allow me to sit on the chair at the bar when I walked in she looked at me and she told me go sit on the table I did not like that she forced me to sit on the table she did not Allow me to sit where I choose She saw me sitting at the bar and she still want me to move to the table!! because I’m not White enough for her ?? The manager she have to be professional I need the customer sit Whenever they are feeling comfortable with spending money we’re not here to eat for free

Impressed with the fast service of this restaurant! We were seated quickly and received our food within minutes of ordering despite the number of patrons. Food was generous and delicious. The only downside was that the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant so it can get loud especially during the busy hours.

It was all delicious! Everything was piping hot. I ordered the pancake combo and a coffee. Our server came back multiple times, at the right time for refills of good coffee. Coffee was not too strong or weak. The server was awesome and the other staff members were equally attentive and kind. I am new to the area and this was a great first impression. I will be returning with the rest of my family :)

I’ve driven right past this place for years without batting an eye, can’t believe I never tried it sooner!! We came for breakfast, it was quite busy (it’s a breakfast restaurant after all) but the service was still quick and amazing. The food we tried was impeccable, especially the grits! Something about this busy little diner was so homey, like the ones we always went to as kids. Definitely coming back soon!

My daughter and I ate breakfast for first time at Barnside Diner the other day. I was very impressed by service and food prep. The portions were not only sizable, but our omelettes (Feta and Garden) were very tasty and fresh. Omelettes we’re not folded over but laid on top fillings. This kept them fresh and tasty! 5 stars! I never leave reviews, but has to share. The manager, Helen, was very nice and accommodating.

You can tell this is a local favorite. My wife and I decided to try it for breakfast yesterday and could immediately tell there were a lot of regulars. The menu was wide. The food was good. The diner was clean. Happy And the service was excellent. My wife went plain with eggs and hash browns while I went with chicken and waffles. It’s a place worth going back to.

I tried many of their breakfast dishes but I love the biscuits and gravy!(not pictured) But one thing I can't resist is their Belgian waffle, I've tried many places for Belgian waffle and none are good as Barnside's!
