Normally when a doctor or emergency room faxes over a prescription, it gets filled as soon as possible. At least that is how every other pharmacy I have used does things. But no, not walmart. They made me go to their drop off window to "drop off" the prescription that they confirmed had been faxed over hours before. What is the point of faxing things to them if they make you "drop off" the same exact thing? Also, the forced consultations are incredibly aggravating and unnecessary. I told the cashier I knew how to use the prescription. I had paid and had my receipt. I want my product and I want to go home. But no, they kept the products that I paid for until the pharmacist had time to tell me exactly what I already knew. Maybe it's just me, (although judging from other reviews, it's not), but when an emergency room faxes over a prescription, it needs to be filled asap for pick up. When the customer has paid for their product - you give it to them. If someone wants help with a prescription, they'll ask for it.

Would rather give 0 stars and this is coming from a professional who understands the importance of high Google Reviews. Unfortunately my experience with this pharmacy has been rather poor for multiple years however my most recent experience has now caused me to refuse to use Walmart Pharmacy for any reason today and moving forward. Every prescription I have filled there you have to wait for over an hour past the time they tell you it will be ready - coming from a mom of two children this time is valuable needless to see not to mention when your children are sick you plan your day accordingly to ensure the best for them. Walmart Pharmacy NEVER can stick to the time that they tell you - even if you call and give them a heads up that "my script ready time is at 1pm, I am on the way and will arrive in 20 minutes and its 2pm" and still have to wait? Absurd. But this brings me to my most recent experience - my husband had to get tamiflu for my children and himself and was able to do so successfully (not timely though, of course). I on the other hand have had to go the pharmacy multiple times for my Tamiflu because they kept telling me it wasn't running through insurance (mind you, this is the same insurance my husband just used to fill the same medication just day(s) before). It takes me 20 minutes one way to get to this pharmacy - add in 2 or more trips and that is a lot of wasted time, right? Not to mention then fact that when I went to the pharmacy they told me I dont have insurance. They called the insurance company and still told me I dont have insurance. They put me through an unimaginable amount of stress for NO REASON! I called and verified that my insurance was IN FACT ACTIVE. I decided I would return back to the pharmacy today to pick up my prescription - again they told me I DONT HAVE INSURANCE. Not only did I "Not have insurance" to them, but they put my script back which meant that I would have to wait for my prescription to be filled all over again. Talk about poor customer service. I had to have my insurance company call them to get it straightened out - which happened to be a clerical error on their end. I understand we are human beings and mistakes happen - but for multiple people to be involved in this case at the pharmacy, a pharmacist included, who could not figure out the simple clerical mistake that was causing the whole issue then how can I trust them to fill my medications accurately? I have since had my scripts switched to Rite Aid pharmacy. Walmart - fix this. I would appreciate a phone call from a supervisor/manager today 2/6/20 to speak about my extremely unfortunate experience and the amount of unnecessary stress this whole scenario has caused me.

Every time I call in my prescription 2-3 days early and when I go in they have NEVER been ready when they say they will. The staff is always rude and very slow. I will be taking my business else where.

Well lets say i went yesterday to get a print off for a family members medications. The pharmacy techs cheryl and ursula REFUSED to help me. The cashier Daryell was great and willing to help. Both techs gave him a hard time for helping me. I am over hearing him being fussed at for helping me and wasting time to print out a piece of paper. Cheryl insisted he have me go back to drop off and get it there. I gave them power of attorney papers and filled out papers he requested. I go to drop off and there's where i met Ursula who acted like she was going to help then after waiting at another register with her she proceeds to tell me she cant help me. Tells me to do it my self at home on a computer. I dont need to come there taking up time. I ask for my papers back. She just holds on to them. I said its fine if u dont want to help me. Give me my papers back please ill go to another walmart or worker where someone will help me. So i get back in line and get helped by the tech Debbie. Who was great. I explained i have been waiting over 1 hr to get a paper printed out. I didnt have access to a computer. All i needed was the medicine form showing what had already been paid. She says shes sorry doesnt understand why no one would help me. Well there is another girl working drop off but Ursula and cheryl proceed to tell Debbie that she shouldnt be helping. Her line is backing up. Ursula asked what shes doing and she tells her well she gets fussed at for helping me. She said i was a customer and she was helping me. Doesn't take but a second to print it off. She is told to hurry and get back to her line. Ursula again 3 times tells me i could do that myself didnt need to come there and waste their time. I just noded my head. I went to the cashier Daryell and told him thank you that i was sorry they gave him a hard time and he got fussed at for helping me. Before any accusations start. I am white all the workers who refused to help were white. Daryell the 1st who tried to help is black. So this is not a racist issue.

Every time I drop off a prescription and come back to get it its never ready. I always have to wait an extra 20-30 mins extra past the expected time. Terrible service rude techs (except for the older tech with glasses) if I could go somewhere else i would!

Needed to use twice in a week. Both times, told prescriptions would be ready within 40 min. After 2.5 hrs today, ours is next to be filled. 3 days ago, 40 min ended up being 4 hours. Go anywhere but here!
