Now that y'all are doing some well needed an awesome updates then y'all need to bring the Cafeteria back upstairs.. Yep I'm that old and I do remember it.. And I was told that it's still up there.. Please bring it back and if y'all need a cook, well I don't mind helping... I used to love going there when I was a kid to eat and you know if you made a kid happy then y'all were doing something right... I was like 12 or so when y'all shut it down..

I'm impressed with the customer service here. The folks on the floor greeted me and were willing to quickly help me. Steve especially was super helpful, combing through rugs for me to find one that was similar enough to be price scanned. Additionally, this Roses has a terrificly wide selection of full floor mats for $99, area rugs from $7.99 to $49.99, bathroom mats for $3.99, kitchen mats for $3.99 to $5.99, outdoor coir doormats for $7.99, and much more. I was able to find 7 rugs and mats for my house (5 pictured), all totaling $75. I would've expected the large area rug for my living room to be that price at any other store. I will be going back soon for more great finds.

Better off buying from Walmart. I know this is a discount store but everything I buy is of low quality. Clothes bought there become beat down after a few wash. Not a single one is not a wash rag after a year of limited use. Even things like deodorant don’t do their job. I start smelling after a few hours of applying and that’s from sitting down. I would rather pay a little more for things that I can use. Makes me feel like there’s no redeeming places at Cavalier Square which is the closest center to me but I avoid it like a plague.

This store has been here forever. It has a little bit of everything in it from clothes, shoes, home decor, toys, food, hygiene products, some electronics and a little automotive. It's not on the level of Walmart's convenience, but it can be a one stop shop sometimes. You name it, and Roses might have it or something close. My only complaint is that it needs to be renovated. It has looked the same since the 80s. There's something about Target's color scheme and lightning that makes me happy when I shop there...I don't quite get that vibe in Roses. But the prices and selection are definitely reasonable and well worth enduring the dated decor. The store is usually pretty clean. And I've never had a customer service issue.

For what it is, a discount store, it's delightful. I visit when I'm in town and if I go with a specific list I'm sometimes disappointed. But, go in to see what delights await and I come out thrilled and happy.

I love shopping here! The bargains I find always made it worth the drive there. They have the best variety of items I've ever seen in a discount store. Also being a larger size I was amazed at the selection they had to choose from. Not just a little rack of clothes. I recommend this store!
