It is going downhill. I used to take my dogs here and they had great doctors. I decided to also bring my new kitty for her wellness exam they did not check her ears, could not cut her nails as the doctor said the kitty could bite them so I decided to take her to Kingstowne Cat clinic and it turns out my kitty had ear mites which are getting treated and they also were able to cut her nails by holding her by they scruff of her neck without a problem.

I came couple of times here. The staff is great and care about the pets but not all the doctors are good. But overall, the place is always clean and smells great. I am giving 4 stars because there are times when I call but no one answers. I always leave a message with my phone number but I don't get a call back. Thank you for the good work and great care.

At first I thought this vet was good. The employees seemed nice and helpful. However, I quickly learned the truth. My wife and I called to take out cat in when she was having some asthma problems with allergies. They said they didn't have any openings, but to call at 7 when they opened and they could do a same day visit. My wife attempted to get a hold of them from 7-10 AM, and was not able to. When someone finally got back to us at 10:30, they said that the same day appointments were already gone. After finally getting an appointment the following day, we received no follow up call, and the front desk staff were rude. My wife called them back after our cat reacted to the medicine they had given her, and they couldn't even call us back. My wife finally called them back, very frustrated, and told them we would be taking our business elsewhere. I would highly recommend Gunston Animal Hospital, it's right down the road from Crosspointe and so much better! (They also told us they've been receiving a lot of new clients that are leaving Crosspointe... interesting.) Upon arriving at the new vet, we saw in the chart that Crosspointe had written down that my wife had told them to "F*** off" when she had called them, which was not at all true. So incredibly rude and unprofessional, and not at all helpful for our pet. Do yourself a favor, and take your business to Gunston instead. Much better care, and the staff are awesome!

Crosspointe Animal Hospital is outstanding and very responsive to the needs of your pet. My dog has been a patient there for the last 10 years and has received excellent care. They are extremely knowledgeable and organized and above all, kind and caring with each and every patient and guardian!

Everytime I come into Crosspointe everyone has impeccable customer service and my cats are always their number 1 priority! I have never been disappointed with my experiences at Crosspointe. Even after I moved from Lorton to Alexandria I choose to continue coming to Crosspointe because of how well my cats are treated :-)

We are all done with this Vet. Our "Gracie" has been there since 6 weeks old and is now 8 years old. Crosspointe Animal Hospital is expensive, and happy to take our money for all these years, but when a minor emergency came up today at 10 a.m., two hours before they closed on a Saturday, they refused to see her. We even called back to to speak to the manager on duty and were refused again. They said "We are booked, take her to another Vet that does Emergencies" How's that for customer service? So important to close at noon sharp rather than taking care of your doggie patients who have been with you since they were a pup. I dare say it borders on being unethical. Gracie says "I won't be back, you weren't there when I needed you."
