My dog needed a dental cleaning along with a procedure. I called several clinics to get estimates, Forest Lakes happily provided me a detailed estimate right away for the procedures and was able to schedule us within days. Very pleasant, straight forward (no nonsense) experience with all staff and Dr. Duval. Was very refreshing to find a practice that you don’t just feel like another “chart” in. Dr. Duval was very pleasant and thorough while discussing the surgery with me. We will definitely be switching our pets care to this practice.

Dr. Duvall and the staff at Forest Lakes have been nothing short of fantastic to our dogs. They've been able to accurately diagnose issues with our dogs that other vets completely missed, and provided quick and gentle care. They also have very reasonable prices which is difficult to find around here. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Always personable and professional when I call or message them. They seem to know exactly what I'm calling about, they'll ask, "is this for [specific pet]?" I'm always able to get quick assistance, helpful answers, and they saved me money on prescriptions and Rx Food that I could order straight from their website. Very convenient!

Dr. Ed Duval is great with our dog, which is highly protective. He has a calming manor that keeps our dog from reacting. The staff is friendly and clear with instructions. Scheduling works out well with availability. Prices for service and medications seem realistic and proportional. Highly recommend Dr. Duval's clinic for your pet's medical care.

We have been taking our dogs there for the last 25 years at least at least. The last 2 times we have needed a vet. They said don't bring him here we don't have any appointments I will never go here again. Unprofessional and uncaring. It is like a huge slap in the face. If you don't want to be a vet anymore just retired doctor Duval.

Great. Time to get in, my dog received her vaccines, all had been planned before. Check up with Doctor Duval, a word of advice on good hygiene on teeth, check of prescriptions. And go..schedule appointment for teeth cleaning, and off we go. Quick, efficient, to the point. And with Dr. and staff super nice. Even a welcoming cat .. 5 stars!

I had my Yokie Batman eutized and they were so caring. They are the best Vet I have ever been too. I am blessed to have had them to do this. They sent me a beautiful card signed with comments and my beautiful footprints of my dog with his name and paws ribbon. Had always been his vet and I wouldnt go anywhete else. Would recommend them 1000%. Will always be my Vet. Thanks for all y'all do. Love all of you,🤗🤗🤗😘

The staff at Forest Lakes Veterinary Clinic are always friendly and helpful. They always remember who we are and they genuinely care about my pet. We have a cat named Gracie and we came very close to losing her a few months ago to previously undiagnosed diabetes. We haven't been in Charlottesville for very long. Forest Lakes Veterinary Clinic saw her right away and started her on medicine to control her disease. They recommended switching her diet to the Blue family of products and they were so right. Now Gracie is 14 years old and has lots of energy, she's playful, her coat looks beautiful, she doesn't cough up hairballs and her litter box habits are great! I could not ask for a better veterinary clinic.
