I took my vehicle in for an estimate. I had already received two others. Even though the estimate was the highest of three I fell for the sales pitch and agreed to the work. I also had my AC serviced. Within weeks my AC stopped working and now the repairs I had done are starting to give me a problem. When I called they already started to sell me on more repairs without even seeing the car. I feel as if they may have done something to the vehicle to create more repairs. I would not recommend them and I will not use them for any additional service. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

My first visit and not my last!!! Staff and owner are very friendly and accommodated some last minute (very much needed) repairs. I felt like I was in very good hands and saw that this was a well run shop!

Customer service is normally pretty good here at Pinehill. I have taken a few of my vehicles here for inspections or alignments. Most of the time I have been happy with the quality of their work. This past visit I dropped off a Jeep for inspection that was failed for a massive list of things. After taking it home and checking myself, I had serious questions about why they failed things like ball joints and control arm bushing that had no play in them. I took the Jeep to the dealer to verify this and they confirmed that none of the suspension components Pinehill failed me for were worn out. I was also told my Pan-hard bar was considered altered suspension equipment because it has a bend in it....the owner himself was adamant that he spoke to the state troopers about this and it should fail. While I was at the dealer I had them look up the factory part and come to find out the factory part has multiple bends in it. So I guess no Jeep Cherokee on the road will pass at Pinehill because they don't understand suspension more complicated than what came stock on Chevy trucks in the 80's. Rather than take this back to the shop and argue with the owner, who was unmovable when I questioned him the first time, I decided to make sure others knew about this. I don't intend to take any of my vehicles back because if they are this careless with something that would have cost me around $1000 to fix how can I trust them at all. So in short, if you have a modified vehicle in anyway or you are failed for something you question at this shop, go get a second opinion. I am glad I did.

I have used Pinehill before in the past based on a recommendation. However my experience this time around was much different than before. After approving work at a certain price, extra work was done on my vehicle and then I had to pay to get my vehicle released without approving the extra work that was done. Unethical business practice - they have lost my business. Had they have made me aware of what they were doing before hand, there may have been some understanding.

Let me start by saying I was gifted a car that failed inspection twice no fault to either of the shops I took it to. I in total had to spend nearly $500 to get the car to pass inspection and of this $140 for headlights which I watched a video and installed myself (incorrectly of course) because it seemed easy enough and accidentally broke a clip that holds the headlight in place. When I took my vehicle in I let them know, and the gentleman that inspected my vehicle did all that was necessary and took time out of his day to remove my fog lights and mess with the headlights so they would hopefully stay where they should, for both I am grateful. However he KNEW that I was the one that put the headlights in and in front of 4 different strangers raised his voice and started fussing said that whoever had done it really screwed things up and should have taken it to a professional because what should have taken 15 minutes took an hour and a half , and I had cost myself money. This man did not know my financial situation or how much I had already put into the car or why I would even be possessed to attempt to install the headlights myself, he could have kindly and quietly brought me to the counter and explained to me next time bring it to him so he can put it in and I won’t have to worry about it but instead....he yelled, made a scene and I drove home with a valid inspection sticker, but cried the whole way home because of how foolish I felt and how much he had embarrassed me. A little empathy and understanding would have gone a long way in this situation. If you come here and sit in the shop you will listen to the owner be very short with his staff, constantly raise his voice and be extremely impatient, perhaps even with you.

My daughter was traveling through King George in route home to tidewater for the holidays.she stopped at one of three Sheetz stations in the area and locked her keys and phone in her car. She borrowed a phone to call me at home (in tidewater)to get AAA service for her. AAA processsed the call through their 800 number by eventually in putting me in touch with the branch that handles king george. 45 minutes later, while on the phone with my daughter who called to say she was back in her car, a number registered to pinehill towing left a voicemail telling me to answer my "profanity" phone. I called back and an unidentified person started a tirade with a list of things I had done wrong and another tirade about how he bad he felt for me to be living in tidewater. Eventually he advised me I gave him the wrong phone and address of the gas station. I'm not sure how that could be when triple a and I called the gas station to make sure we had the right one and spoke to my daughter while she was there. Plus they recorded the number I called from and repeated it back to me several times. He wasn't interested in hearing anyone speak. He just wanted to have a problem with something and argue with someone. He knew it all..... On top of this, he never said what company he was with. I had to Google the number to find out. This guy's customer service skills are lacking. Some people should not have interactions with the public/customers and just do behind the scenes work. The technician was polite and unlocked the car in less than 5 minutes Unfortunately, the prompt and sufficient service work does not outweigh the horrible customer service. It's sad that AAA gave them my business and a vendor certification .

I would never take any of my vehicles back to this shop, they are way overpriced and will make up stuff to fix. This is by far the biggest rip off shop in the area.

Great friendly service. Blowing two tires mid trip was the last thing I expected, thankfully this great company got me towed and moving as quickly as they could. The gentleman on the phone was quick to ask that I was safe and out of harms way on the side of the road and the driver was very pleasant and accommodating. Great people and fantastic service!
