Fantastic vegan donuts!!! So many vegan options, like half of the donuts were vegan. Super friendly staff.

We were in Richmond downtown and were looking for a quick place to have coffee and donut. We searched near us and decided to have coffee and donut from Sugar Shack. From the menu we ordered Spice Pie Latte and Donut. The order was quick and soon we got our coffee as well as donut. The spice pie latte was an amazing coffee with freshly roasted coffee and amazing fall taste. The donut was also good. A good coffee shop definite to have an amazing coffee and donut.

I'm not a "sweets person." So, not an expert on what's really good or what to look for. But I was craving a donut one day and decided to order from here. They didn't have in stock one of the donuts that I was really looking for but they gave me extra to make up for it. Amazing customer service and delicious donuts. Not something I'll entertain often, but when I do, sugar shack will be top of the list! Wide selection. Beautiful donuts. Fair pricing.

Sugar Shack has some of the best donuts around, vegan or otherwise! I’d highly recommend the cinnamon bun for a vegan option and then the cronut/cake donuts for those who don’t have dietary restrictions. My only small negative is that although the staff is all incredibly friendly and does a great job, I don’t think they’re optimized to get customers quickly in and out of the shop. If someone orders a drink, there’s been times the line is halted for a few minutes while the only person front of house makes it. Also I always need to wait in line for my pick up order and they usually end up packing it then (which feels like it defeats the purpose). But if you have an extra ~10 minutes to hang around for fantastic donuts, this is the place!

The donuts and coffee are delicious and the service is wonderful, but what I really find amazing are the custom donuts Maggie and her team create! 12-18" delicious masterpieces or even a custom themed dozen, YUM!

There is a very large selection of vegan donuts. They are great quality too and I love the uniqueness of the different flavors. Staff is always super friendly too!

I’m giving Sugar Shack 5 stars because their Samoa is the best f**king donut I’ve ever had in my life. The customer service is okay, however, I feel nowadays all food service spots are struggling. It’s not the same as when I was in food service. Patience is key. Saving my Boston Cream for tomorrow’s snow day.

Fun, little doughnut and burger place. We ended getting a couple of doughnuts for breakfast, but would definitely come back to try more. The doughnuts were great, and the prices were really good too. If I had to improve one thing, I would say I wish there was somewhere inside or outside to sit, so that you don't have to eat in the car or find somewhere else to go.

Just amazing customer service and a very friendly clientele. I got the Vegan Nashville Chicken Sandwich with vegan bacon and my bf got the Maple Bacon Beef Sandwich with a donut as a bun. Both of us loved our orders! For desert we got 3 donuts that knocked our socks off. There's no indoor seating, but there's a middle school across the street with some benches to use if its after hours.

Richmond's Best Donuts! Great variety and always fresh. I often stop by Sugar Shack to buy treats for healthcare workers in the area. They are always a great hit with the staff.
