So a young girl called to cancel my appt because Morgan who was going to cut my hair became ill and had to go home. Which I understand. I asked if there was anyone else who could cut my hair tonight she said no. i asked her if i could make a appt next Weds and telling her that is the only day I get off at 6 I work 7 days a week the other 6 days I get off after 8 pm if not later. when I told her that she said being very nasty that I was being very rude and she didn't need my business and hung up on me. I guess she blocked my number because when I called back it gave a fast busy but when I called from my shop phone it went thru. When she answered I was trying to tell her I wasn't being rude I was trying to tell her why Weds was the only day I could get my hair done, she again hung up on me AWESOME customer service. My sister goes here and told me I would love it but not seeing that happen.. I might add the call was on speaker phone so she was heard being nasty by several people

Paige is ridiculously talented. My hair really only feels and looks good when she's on it. But, I've seen some of the other's work while sitting there and they're all very good at what they do. Definitely recommend

I made an appointment 2 weeks out after emailing the company asking for a tint and trim. I was matched up with Morgan for a 6pm service. I received a text at 11:35am the day of my appointment saying that the person getting services before my time slot had canceled. They asked if I could come an hour earlier. I texted that I could try to come 30 minutes prior to my appointment but I would be coming from norfolk. I got a call 4 hours later asking if I could come in early because Morgan was free. I, again, told them I am coming from the other side of town but will try to come at 5:30pm (it was raining and traffic). I then got another call 20 minutes later. I missed it because i was driving to the appointment. I called back and was put on hold and it disconnected. They called me back and I was right down the street and still ahead of my original hair appointment time. The salon let me know that Morgan couldn't do my tint and trim but could only do a partial at this time since I was "30 minutes late to my appointment ". I let them know that I was not late for my appointment and told them I would try to get there earlier but i was stuck in traffic. They would not budge and said that the salon is closing soon so i can do a partial or reschedule. I'll never go here because they dont seem to care about their standing appointments.

My daughter is very picky with how her hair is cut and styled but on the first time she went, they did everything right! She just had a follow up trim. They remembered exactly how she likes her hair and impressed us again! I made an appointment for my other child as well. So glad we switched from Ulta to them 😊 UPDATE: I just had a bayalage done and it is sooo pretty 😍 Ulta didn't do what I was really going for but they fixed it!

I am not one to write reviews but I feel as though it is critical for me to write a review regarding my experience at this salon. I saw great reviews for the salon so I decided to call and make an appointment. I went in for a haircut with Sean, asking for only a trim, thinking “it’s difficult to really mess up a trim.” Well I was very wrong. After 2 days I washed my hair and realized that my hair was EXTREMELY uneven. I was disappointed with the fact that my hair was not only uneven but that I paid $60 for this horrible haircut. I went into the salon to show the manager and she stated that only the “front pieces” were uneven and that I could not receive a refund due to their policy; they could only fix my hair. Well Morgan fixed it and it still looks absolutely horrible. I will never come back to this salon! STAY AWAY ! Service: Haircut

I decided to give this place another try and I was disappointed they obliviously cater to a particular type of customer. Every one can’t do everyone’s hair I rather go to someone who doesn’t look at me crazy bcuz I have product in my hair and then charge me extra for washing it I thought that’s what the hair dresser was for?extra fee for clipped ends. I felt out of place it’s a beautiful salon but I’ll just have to find a place that understands and can do my hair properly. My hair didn’t even hold up like it normally would. So basically wasted almost 70 bucks for nothing. Service: Hairstyling

Saw Sean today it not only did he not listen he took 2.5 hrs for a hair cut and blow dry ! I asked for a long angel bob the sunglasses pic are the after ! I said I am a wash and go kinda gal ! Why the F did he curl it ! I felt like he didn't part my hair at all while cutting and gave bangs that i never asked for ! Really tempted to call and complain but i just wanted out of there ! I will not be going back! I hate my hair cut even got home and had to trim a section of hair due to he never checked sides . I felt this salon is less than professional and sean was way to into him self then the work he is doing! Stay a way !

I come here every 6 weeks to get a trim / touch up on layers and curtain bangs and I couldn't be happier with the results every time. I love the staff, I love the atmosphere, and I always walk out with my hair feeling fresh and beautiful! More expensive than Great Clips or other generic places but worth the price for a more personalized style.

I've been a client of Jessica Wade at Shine Hair Designs for years. Lately she's been helping me "embrace" my gray by blending my colors so I have aore natural look without the dreaded gray root line. As a result of her blending genius over previous visits, today I needed no color at all. She just provided me with a lovely deep conditioning treatment, nice trim, and beautiful style.
