My taxes did not get filed on time because I was not informed that the accountant did not receive a picture of my drivers license and needed it in order to file. I also was not informed that the taxes did not get filed, there was no follow up. The rest of my paperwork was turned in more than a week before tax day. I called multiple times, but never was put through to actually talk with anyone/ no one ever answered the phone, I was only able to leave voicemail messages, which were never returned. My email inquiry attempting to ensure my taxes were able to be filed on time (since I had not heard anything) also was not responded to. This is unacceptable client treatment, I will likely never file with H&R block again.
