Went in to see about getting a new cotter pin trailer hitch for my vehicle. I walked in and told the guy what I needed. He asked me a few questions and then took me exactly to what I needed. He asked a few more questions and then ended up telling me that my cotter pin and bolt can be re used until it shows signs of wear. With some muscle and effort, I was able to get the cotter pin off when I'm not towing.
