I purchased an Escape back in Feb. 2021. I also foolishly purchased GAP insurance. I was unsure about getting it, but was assured that I could cancel it if I changed my mind, which I did after learning how overpriced it was. Since then I have had my calls and emails pretty much ignored. One person did finally send me the necessary paperwork digitally, but I never heard anything after mailing it in. I was told it takes 8-10 weeks to issue the refund after the paperwork is received. I tried getting in contact again after several months of not hearing anything, but no one ever responded. So, is it actually possible to get a GAP refund, or was that something that Westlie Ford just tells people?

MY WORD. I had such a nervous-poop stomach about having to buy another car without my husband at my side but the team here put me at major ease. I recognized a couple of the guys from living in the area years ago and Trevor was a total GEM. He was upfront with me about everything and it felt like I was working with my brother instead of someone who just wanted all of my money and first-born child. They honored the online price and were very accommodating when I expressed concern for the windshield and condition of the tires. The engine was super clean, Trevor gave me the used vehicle inspection report without hesitation, and he responded quick to my emails before and after purchase. This was the best car-buying experience I have ever had and am so grateful to have been treated with kindness and honesty. I'll be back for sure!

The wife noticed a vehicle there I had on my wish list. Braden was great and let us take it for a test drive. Came back and drove it home that evening. Everything done via text, and was in and out in 45 min. Great experience!

Made an appointment with Westlie Ford to get my clutch swapped out on my 2003 Mustang and was quoted a good price at $1400 for all the parts to be installed that I had. The appointment was set a week in advance and I was told the vehicle would be worked on and returned to me after 2 days (not including the day that I dropped it off). Once I arrived I checked the car in and was requoted $1800 because "Labor wages had gone up". After hearing this I was hesitant to have them service my vehicle here but I ended up still going with it. The following day I called to ask what progress was made on the vehicle and was told it was not worked on yet but will be worked on later that day in order for it to be ready on Thursday so I could pick it up. Thursday came and I had not heard anything back from them so I called 3 hours before their closing time and asked if my car was ready to be picked up yet. After being on hold for 30 min I was told that my car was not worked on at all yet. After hearing this I was very disappointed and quite angry. I had made an appointment, dropped my car off, had the price raised on me, and then was without a car for 3 days just to find out they had done nothing to it. The gentleman helping me was named Trevor and he was very nice and apologized about everything and knowing it was not his fault I was nice and respectful back to him. Trevor did all that he could in that situation and it was just the people doing that service that disappointed me most. I would not recommend going to this Ford and will never take any of my vehicles here in the future.

I purchased a pre-owned Lexus RX 350 with Omar (goes by Oz) and it was one of the least stressful car purchases I’ve had. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to purchase a car for a fair price and even with a competitive interest rate given this crazy market! Westlie made the buying process extremely easy. We were in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. They had freshly cleaned the car we were coming to buy, and even had it on the show room floor for us! 😍 We will definitely return for our next car purchase, and would highly recommend.

I came to Westlie Ford for an oil change (after a very disappointing experience with Vancouver Ford). The experience here was incredible. Everyone was friendly, informative and helpful. I was even able to pre-purchase two more oil changes at a fixed price. Two other services were suggested, one that was a little more important than the other, I chose the first and will have the second on the next oil change - no high pressure to get it done immediately. I appreciated that. They just made everything easy. Is it a little out of the way? Yes, but I am willing to go a little out of the way when the company I am dealing with seems willing to do the same!

WORST service center experience EVER! Made an appointment a week prior to have the timing belt and water pump replaced on a car we had just purchased for our son. I had requested the soonest appt, as he was leaving for school in AZ, and was scheduled for Aug 9th- the day before he had to leave. We showed up for our appt and was informed they'd have to order parts in, which would be 3-5 days! The person checking us in never smiled, was completely unapologetic and near condescending when telling us that "people usually order and pay for their parts ahead of the appt". When I asked "what people", he said "the customer"! I have NEVER had to prepay for anything car-related, prior to having work done ANYWHERE, and I was NOT asked to do so when I made the appointment. Two other red flags I'll mention: 1) why didn't the technician question not having the parts he needed to do a job he would have had on his schedule? 2) I received an appt reminder FIVE MINUTES before my appointment! Of course, I didn't see it until after we left WITH THE CAR, since we were literally there, when the reminder was sent. I would have given a zero star rating, if there was an option.
