Great service, delicious food. Interior needs an update. Looks like the original booths!! Lol!

The food was what you expect from LJS- it was comfort food- good, freshly prepared. But the restaurant interior needs a lot of TLC..paint, cleaning of the floors, new counters. There were only 2 couples ahead, and it took over 17 minutes for 2 meals. The employee at the counter had head down, playing on phone.

Stopped in on June 25th 2022, Myself and 3 family members decided to try it on the way back to Pittsburgh because we didn’t know they were still a franchise. Needless to say it was the worst fast food experience we have all had I will list just a few things we noticed while eating here 1. Dirty as a barn 2. I seen employees touching food with there bare hands 3. Fish and chicken where almost floating in grease in the containers. 4. Rice was slimy 5. Bathroom was very smelly and dirty ( reminded me of the movie shreck) 6. Floor had cups and food on the floor ( in the kitchen) 7. Watched an employee wash her hands behind the counter with no soap. Sweet tea was good though! All four of us didn’t eat a quarter of the meals they were that bad. Others in the restaurant left disappointed and went to kfc to get different food for lunch.

I was not pleased with my orfer. I ordered the super sample platter meal. The fish was over cooked, and dry. The shrimp was rubbery, and had a strange taste. The chicken tasted old.The hush puppies was cold and old. Old oil taste. The tables were dirty, and some of the seats was ripped up. The floors needed attention. Bugs were flying around you as you ate. "Very Unsanitary!!!" I will not be going back there, I will stick with Capitan D's. What a let down. Don't waste your time with this place.

This place is pretty bad. Horrible customer service. Food is like it sat in grease for days and the entire atmosphere is dirty and run down. When we asked why we didn't get drinks with our meals they just looked at us like we were dumb and didn't even offer any to us after the fact

Ordered online 16 piece meal which comes with lemon cake and ordered ranch sauce and extra tarter sauce. Picked up meal they gave me honey mustard sauce I asked why they said they were out of ranch. But they didn't tell me that, and online chose lemon cake it gave me a choice of lemon or chocolate. Got home realized no lemon cake took an hour 35 minutes to get someone to answer the phone when I called back. A woman finally answered the woman said they aren't doing that promotion anymore I said it's on your website and I saw the commercial that's why I chose Long John today. She had no answer when I asked why they didn't tell me these things when I picked up the meal. In the comments I asked for extra extra tarter sauce got 4 but handfuls of the other sauce that I didn't order. Very disappointed 😞

Food was fair but I couldn't believe how much the cost gas gone up. Tables were dirty. The place needs some remodeling bad. It wasn't terrible there though.

Older building that could use a remodeling but the food is still good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and warm.

The food I ordered made me sick to my stomach. I was in so much pain I ordered two fish meal, and when I opened the box, it looked like two fish that was sick themselves. The fish was like a rubber band sitting in grease from when they opened. I could tell that they must have got busy and made an abundance of them, and they set there way too long. That meal cost me $7, which was the worst $7 meal in the world.

Man, this place has gone downhill! Don’t get me wrong—I know what kind of greasy food I’m getting when I go to a Long John’s. But this place looks so run down and unsanitary. Not only that but the employees we interacted with didn’t greet us and weren’t friendly at all. They looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. We didn’t feel comfortable enough to eat here so we walked out. At this rate I don’t see how this place is open. If you want some fast seafood, go down the street to Captain D’s.
