Although we had to wait for the parts, Roger S (the technitian) was very nice, knew his business and did an excellent job. The refrigerator is working well. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

If u bought your appliance in motown, sears can't help u. The number provided with the product is redundant. The customer help.line will only say that service is not available in the morgantown area. Sears is out of business of course. So like many things you at the mercy of the local services wich are reliable , but overwhelmed with service calls. Get your appliances at lowes with a protection plan and if it malfunctions, you can take it back for a new one, unless you can wait 3 weeks + to do your laundry.

I called sears customer support to come and check my dryer. The dryer and clothes inside the machine were getting overheated at a normal drying setting. The call was handled professionally by sears customer support to schedule a tech visit. I received a text message for my scheduled appointment and also received a notification with a picture of the technician who will be fixing the dryer. I was very pleased to see the technician and he took a great care fixing the issue in a very short duration. The tech provided me with a handful information and how to avoid such problem. The problem was lint formation inside the machine and exhaust pipes in my house which can cause a fire hazard. I'm glad the problem was solved with no further delays. Thank you, Sears.

My Kenmore Elite refrigerator broke on Feb 25. They sent a repairman on March 4. He diagnosed it as the compressor and motherboard. Parts were ordered. I paid almost $800. On March 13 another man came and out those parts on. It worked less than 24 hours. They sent another repairman on March 25. He diagnosed a large Freon home that could not be repaired. So 1 month without a fridge. I have faked for a refund for the motherboard since it was diagnosed wrong. But they are saying no. Why is this my fault that their repairman diagnosed it wrong? Horrible customer service!

The service tech was helpful answering my concerns except for one. At which time he said Good Evening and left. He didn't let me finish my concern . He just left. My concern was that all he did was to take off my bottom panel on my dishwasher and look at it and put it back on. He said the part he just look at, the bottom panel of my dishwasher was working just fine. The sensor I found after the first tech had cleared my drain hose that cost me over 200.00 for service since I couldn't afford the 49.00 a month for a warranty which I paid the 200.00 plus for the service call and I agreed to. I felt the sensor had something to do with my dishwasher not cleaning and making more noises since the first tech left. The second tech explained to me that the sensor was an old sensor probably left by my old dishwasher that Sears Chat told me was bought in 2013 which was replaced about four ago that I told him about. and he confirmed was a newer dishwasher that was not as old as the Sears Chat person stated it was. I had replaced that old dishwasher with a new Kenmore possibly bought through Lowes or Sears since he explained to me wasn't carried by Lowes. Sears in Morgantown, WV had went out of business so it was more than likely I did purchase it through Lowes. at the time I did purchase it. And perhaps I did not buy the warranty that Lowes offered me. However, Lowes and / Sears were the only place I could have purchased that dishwasher and since my son worked for Sears I knew about when Sears in Morgantown, WV closed it's doors. I did not feel this

The day we received service (Sept. 20), the technician was really great. But we were supposed to be serviced on the day before (19th) and never received a call that no one was coming. My wife stayed home all day waiting but as I said she did not receive any notice that we were not being serviced that day. I felt we should have had our $89 service fee at least reduced for our inconvenience.

We had to wait 6 days for anyone to even look at our refrigerator. Then, we had to wait another two weeks for the parts to arrive and to have another tech out to change parts out. Two days later, it is very obvious the problem with our refrigerator has not been fixed. They says it's going to be another 6 days before anyone can come look at it again. Then, we get an email saying our appointment had been cancelled. We had to call to see what was going on and was told that now the earliest they can come out is another day later, so a full week to wait again. They could not tell us why our appointment had been cancelled and obviously had not communicated with us one bit about the l cancellation. We will be without our $3000 refrigerator and freezer for over a month now. As a family with three young children that are home all day everyday this is absolutely unacceptable. We were very understanding, yet frustrated, waiting 3 weeks the first go around to have it fixed and now believe that since it should have been resolved and the company is at fault we should not be waiting another full week to have someone look at it again, especially with the whole cancelled appointment mistake as well. If they have to order parts I'm sure we will be waiting a lot longer. The wait times are extremely unacceptable and a&e is doing nothing to make up for the waits, cancellation of our appointment on their behalf, and the companies failure to fix our appliance the first time. We will never buy from sears or use a&e again.

I'm overall satisfied with the repair service. My complaint would be how long I had to wait to have the technician come. The initial visit was 10 days but then he had to order a part and I had to wait another 10 days for the return visit. I think that since I have a service warranty Sears should expedite service. I don't think they have enough service techs for this area.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Sears repairs and warranty service. My technician always calls me over to show the issues and gives me recommendations on maintenance and safety. He worked quickly and cleaned up before he left. My dryer works great again! Dryers especially are so scary because of the fire hazard and need cleaned out annually!!

Worst experience ever. We had a simple problem with our washer and they ordered the part. They ordered a dishwasher pump instead of a washer motherboard. Then they were suppose to show up at the house between 10-2 and called to say they were running late. After waiting all day they called at 630 and said they weren't coming. They gave us a number to call to reschedule. We called the number and they said they couldn't do anything until the repairman submitted their notes. Called back the next day rescheduled. Repairman showed up 1/2 hour late, found out he had ordered the wrong part. Told us it would be 2 weeks before the part and maybe longer to put it in. We cancelled and he said no prob, they would refund the money. Sears tried to give us a certificate, which would have been sent by US mail. Then they said the repairman couldn't issue refunds and that it was under review. Spent an hour a day on hold for 5 days trying to see the status and 3 hours on weekend attempting to get an answer. Finally they said the refund was being processed and that they will review it to see how much we get back. If it is anything short of a full refund i wouldn't be surprised. It is par for the course. In Short: Worse repair service ever. Run don't walk away from them and their horrible customer service. I would rather deal with comcast if that tells u anything.
