I've been a customer for 6 years now and very happy doing business with Fred's Sanitary Service. Their pricing is fair and the service is so good, that I did not even know they were here this year. We are on their annual service schedule and absolutely trust their employees when they are on our property. I received my bill in the mail and happy to pay on time! Thanks for keeping my tanks clean!

I have been using Fred's for years servicing my septic. Issue came up with my well pressure tank. They were able to schedule repair much quicker than I expected. The plumber arrived right on time. We looked at the issue and had some greatly appreciated suggestions. No only did he replace the well pressure tank but also replaced some old supply lines. He went above and beyond my expectations!

So we had a Thanksgiving fiasco that rivaled the Bumpus Hounds from A Christmas Story. As Kevin was taking a shower yesterday, getting ready to go out for Thanksgiving dinner, the water started bubbling up in the bathtub... horrible gray, dirty water! Then there was dueling backup between the tub and the toilet! We had no idea what was wrong, or if the toilet in the upstairs bathroom was affected so we were afraid to flush it. A very long story short, we were pretty much without a flushable toilet for about 24 hours! (if it's yellow, let it mellow - but what if it's something else!? EWWWW!) We have a home warranty which is basically worthless (DO NOT get a home warranty with HSA!). The contractor they dispatched it to did not have a working phone number, and never called us. HSA said they would try to find another company, but never called us back. They did say if they didn't call back, we could get whomever we wanted and they would pay....(we'll see how that works out!) We got ahold of another company and they suggested we have the septic tank pumped, that might resolve the issue. Huge KUDOS to Fred's Sanitation Services for coming out today, pumping the tank and cleaning a clogged pipe from the tank to the house (EWWWWW again!!!). We are actually switching from the previous company we used (which will remain unnamed) to Fred's as they rerouted a truck to our house, and also sent a tech out to fix the clog. So thankful for a local company that understood our pain and took care of us asap! Service: Plumbing pipe repair

We have had great experiences with this septic company! On time ( within a few hours for emergency today), professional, explained findings and options with quotes, and even went above and beyond and cleaned up our mailbox that was hit by a snowplow. ;-) I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Have used them for years for annual maintenance. Would recommend for pumping or septic emergencies for sure.

Fred's did an inspection and load test for a septic system at a residential property we were purchasing. They did an excellent and thorough job of analyzing the entire system and giving us an accurate and professional assessment of the system as we move to closing. We will continue to use Fred's to maintain the system when we take ownership of the home.

They pumped our septic 2 years ago. Our requirement for pumping our septic is every three years. A call was made to my wife stating we need to get our septic pumped by July 18th. I contacted the County and they said it is only every three years and ours was not due until 2022. Freds representative insisted that our system was going to back up into our house, again NOT TRUE. We will not be using them again.

Fred's did the well and septic inspections for the seller when I first purchased my home in Menomonee Falls. Everything passed, no issues. Now I'm selling that home and was expecting at least a similar result but used a different inspection company. Come to find out that the well is now deemed to be out of code compliance despite no changes to system and no changes to the code meaning it was out of compliance the whole time I lived there. This is putting my entire home sale at risk and at a minimum costing me thousands of dollars to resolve since I am left liable. Their septic pumping and cleaning services were adequate but would suggest never using them for inspection work of any kind to avoid finding yourself in a similar situation.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Requested a well water test for my VA home loan refinancing and was told someone would be on site in 2 days between 8 am and 11 am. Tech showd up at 1055 an with no call or notification of when he would be onsit . The tech also told me I would recieve the results in 3 to 5 days. Water was tested monday and friday I recieved a bill in the mai . Wrote out a check and mailed it in on monday. Still no results for the testing. I had to call to find out what was taking so long since we were on a timeline with the VA home loan. A crabby office lady answered and told me they were holding out results hostage until they recieved payment. Never once during the whole process until today did anyone mention that payment was needed to release the results of a water test. If this is the way they treat veterans I feel bad for the rest of their customers. Never ever again will I do business with Fred's.

Holy cow. This company was awful to work with. They did a test on our well and septic, and after a clerical error sent FAILING tests (on both our well and septic) to our buyer a week after they said they would. Needless to say, the buyers weren’t happy. Fred’s came back, charged us again, and looked at the same systems and lifted both of the erroneous failures only after constant calls cajoling them to get us paperwork. They offered no explanation about the discrepancy between the visits and the paperwork, and they did nothing to rectify the situation whatsoever. We are feeling very lucky our buyer didn’t walk. I would not recommend them to anyone.
