They don't guess and they replace only what's necessary. They'll tell you if they see obvious safety problems and can give a good overall assessment of your vehicle's condition, if repairs are worth it or not. They are willing to work on older vehicles local dealers will give you "attitude" on. They're not flashy but they get the job done right! York and Dakota are absolutely amazing when it comes to customer service! I had my truck in for a check engine light and they narrowed it down to an oil pressure sensor. They replaced the sensor along with the harness and good as new. When I had a problem with it a few weeks later they went back and took a look at their work, rechecked it and ended up fixing the electrical issue that caused the problem after being in the shop once. Gave me a loaner vehicle while it was in the shop so that it wasn’t too much of a burden not having a vehicle. Communication was outstanding and they were extremely determined to make my truck working properly again. All the people who work here are no BS. Honest and professional. Took my car in last Tuesday March 29th for a front end alignment. They called around noon saying they wouldn’t do it with out new tires. Fine I already had them at home wanted the alignment done drive 45 minutes and have someone else put on the tires. They wanted to do for $120 on Monday April 4th along with the alignment. Just to get it done I agreed. Plover is a drive and I only work in that area a couple days a week. They called me around 130 saying they can’t get the alignment done today and to find a ride and leave it overnight. I can’t I have nobody that would drive that far to pick me up and then drive back up there on a day I don’t work. I came to pick up my car with just the tires on and while I was there they brought another car to get on the alignment machine and also charged me over $30 for rag and oil disposal. I took my old tires with me. The guy at the front desk told me to sit down and wait until he figures out my bill. Will not ever go to this place again ever. I will drive anywhere to get my BMW serviced. Anywhere but here. Also don’t fall for their up sells they do it like non I have ever seen. I’m updating my review after speaking with the owner who was very understanding of my frustration and is trying to make it right. I seriously respect that! Service: Steering & suspension repair

I'll never take my vintage buses or beetle s anywhere else. IMHO I'm pretty apt with a set of wrenches and it just got too cold to be doing clutch jobs on the side of the road in January. They were far friendlier and knowledgeable than I expected and prices were a real value. New raving fan and lifetime customer!

These guys are awesome! They turned a bad situation around for me. I was half way to northern WI when my car broke down in Plover on a Friday afternoon. Brought my Volvo in. They were able to diagnose, get parts, and have it back in 24 hours. It was reasonably priced and they communicated the changes before they made them. They will be my Volvo repair shop going forward.

We've had River West wofk on our vehicles for a few different issues, and they've always done a great job for us. Communication is excellent, prices reasonable. In the back of the shop is River West dog grooming. We've taken our dogs there for a number of years. Jolene was previously a Vet tech, so she knows dogs and recognizes possible health issues. She is amazing with our dogs, compassionate and caring. We won't go anywhere else with our dogs.
