I can’t say enough about the Dock Side. The quality of food was excellent! The service was outstanding. I had catered platters. I said I would pick up at noon. I was running late and forgot to call to let them know. I arrived after closing. I called Scott and he sent a member of his staff to open up and get my order. PS He tried to call me and I missed seeing the call. 😁 Kid-friendliness: They went out of their way! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread.

Just okay. Ordered two salads and they were not good. The lines were long and the interior looks dated. Also just one bathroom so people stand in line in the dining area for the bathroom.

So so so good. I live in Grafton and I dont know why I haven’t come here before. Great location and good service. Very busy but worth the wait. Got the club sandwich and my husband got the mother trucker sandwich. Filling and yummy!

My wife has an accent, right away there was judgment and bad attitude by the owner's wife taking the order. I took over figuring she would get better, I have no accent. In fact, I was raised around Port Washington my entire life. I DO, however, still have dark hair and features like my wife. But no change, in fact, she added a sandwish to my order in error that I did not need and so I simply asked for a correction in a warm and polite way. Because lets face it, this is small potatos in life. No big deal. Well, not for her. This seemed to ruin her day. Even her husband caught word of the commotion and came to the front to give us a dirty look. Same terrible attitude. I even watched her walk to the cooking staff and inform them of the "voided" item as she rolled her eyes. Once she noticed I caught her doing that she turns to me and says "we were able to void your order". As if I put her out and did something wrong. It's a sandwich order change, can't possibly be outside their job description. I own businesses and am a small business consultant. There is no reason she should be the front person for this restaurant. Poor leadership, bad culture, blatent discrimination if you are anything different she is. Aging, foreign, dark features, purple, blue... do not support this business until they make great strides to change. Look at all the 1 stars. They are there for good reason and there are A lOT. I'm surprised they still show 4.4 stars. The food was average in taste and above average in price and not worth the terrible energy we were sent off with for the holiday weekend. I am not mad or angry. I feel empathy for their poorly run enterprise because I know how tough it can be. They are lacking business awareness and emotional intelligence. They should be providing a service and giving away great food and atmosphere. Instead they do the opposite. Major organizational change needed. They are loosing valuable revenue and ultimately profit. I'll bet the sales are great with plenty of new traffic, but they're left with little at the end because of behavior. That formula often means little repeat business except the few locals. Who I'm sure are dealing with the same.. I would enjoy returning and posting the best experience I possibiy can after they hire an outside consultant in their industry. Good luck out there Dockside Deli! It's tough for everyone these days.

Stopped by the Dockside Deli at the harbor in Port Washington on Saturday (7/30) afternoon. A really nice location on the harbor with a beautiful view on the lake side patio. It was super busy but, the staff was friendly and courteous and the service was efficient. I had the rueben - nice crunchy dark rye, tasty corned beef and swiss with tangy Russian dressing - a very good sandwich - with chips and a drink. I'd highly recommend stopping here for a nice quick bite - not only for the good food and service but, also for the lake side patio dining - super casual and reasonably priced - we'll definitely be back the next time we're up in Port Washington.

First time here while visiting the area, was really hoping for a good sandwich & soup. It took 10 minutes in line to put my order in, which I understand as it’s a very busy area. After my order was put in it took over 20 minutes to get my order. My entire party all received their orders, plus everyone in line that ordered after us received theirs. When we finally got our food it appeared to have been hastily assembled. The sandwich had a few slices of corned beef and a smear of dressing. It looked nothing like I see in other reviewers’ photos. The soup was decent, and the outside seating and view was a plus.

First and last time here. The cashier was EXTREMELY rude, I’ve never seen anything like it. She claimed we cut people in line and then proceeded to yell at us for ordering too quickly. When we brought up that I had a food allergy she cut me off, literally waved her hands and replied “yeah yeah”. I was stunned and disgusted with this kind of service. I truly wish we just left and didn’t give them any of our money. The sandwiches were fine but that interaction with the cashier truly ruined the whole meal.

Great service, beautiful tables by the dock and good food. They even have gluten free toast which opened up a lot more options! Standard Deli. Big menu. Fast Service. The views of the Harbor outside are very nice. The food is good, filling, but not overwhelming. One odd thing - the offer to upgrade your sandwich with a soda and bag of chips for $2.25 is a huge cheat to the customer. No problem with folks making money, but try not to be so obvious.

Delicious, friendly, popular spot in downtown Port Washington. Order at the register and grab your food when it’s ready. Excellent breakfast and lunch menu with a wide array of tasty sweet treats. A fetching space to grab coffee and gab. Bright and natural light, comfy diner atmosphere, and some fresh surprises - like the banana chocolate chip bread pudding. Great local reputation.
