I signed up to do an orientation for their six week challenge. I figured it would be fun. A person named Hannah sent me five texts prior to our meeting about how spots were filling up and whatnot. One of the texts was literally about a pet fish. Hannah specifically said to text “here” when I got there. I did that. I stood and waited in the lobby for fifteen minutes, and no one ever showed up. I don’t really understand how you can pitch accountability if you can’t even make your own appointments.

got totally screwed over by the manager of this location and I see others were victims as well. How is this allowed to continue? personal trainers were great. The manager on the other hand just takes our money with not a care in the world. Haven't used their gym since the pandemic started and I had ANOTHER charge from them for no reason, now I have to go change my debit card cause they wont stop stealing my money

Honestly an awesome place to get a workout in the members are polite and the staff is fantastic and are always there to help you learn new things if your looking for a place to workout the Waunakee location is well setup and has a great environment.

Staff is amazing and very helpful. I am not one usually to ask for advice in my workouts, however, when I do the staff helps you past your expectations!

I've been a member there for 7 plus years. I've even took friends and family which had memberships. I have wife and kid at home. With Covid 19 pandemic going I go in anytime no mask wore by people or staff. Not going to risk it. The weights and bathrooms are horrible sanitation wise. I have 1 more year on my contract and want out. And I'll come back when I feel it's safe. If anytime and I could come to a agreement.

I just think they could before forthcoming about their rates. You call and get one rate then another in person. This 99 start up then a monthly rate then locking in for 24 months. Side note...if they would say hey if you have insurance it may help wave the fee that would have been great. The facility is was very clean with lots of options.

Very aggressive tactics to make you sign up for the gym. After saying no multiple times I was sent many texts trying to get me to come back. I paid for the 3 month plan, ended up getting signed up for a 2 year contract without my knowledge. Tried to cancel my membership but was not allowed. I was told I was would have to pay a $250 fee to break my contract. I had to cancel my card and get a new one to stop the payments. 45 plus people in the “Waunakee can we talk” Facebook page has had a bad experience with this gym as well. I’m not the only one. BEWARE.

They are scam. Please read the terms and condition word by word. They may say the monthly fee would be $25 but they will charge you more. They have several hidden charges. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORDS. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITION. The will never tell you that you're going to sign a contract and there is $300 plus fee if you think to break the contract. Once you signed you're done.

The personal trainers are great! Logan in particular is excellant and my personal favorite because he watches how you do each exercise and provides great feedback to get the most from the workout. He also encourages you to push yourself safely, while considering any existing limitations you may have. The Waunakee AF manager on the other hand would get one star. She's the worst manager of any fitness facility I have ever dealt with. In the six months I've been there I don't think I saw her smile other than the day I first signed up. I'm sure it was the incentive pay for a new member that was making her smile. I'd recommend going to a different location to join so you aren't part of her bait and switch sales tactics. Feigning lack of recall was her best excuse.

It's always clean, the staff is nice when you talk to them, it's probably decent sized for an anytime.
