Best place in town for meat and staff is always friendly

Best meat and prices on meat. Their meat and vegetables are awesome, but the rest of the store is expensive.

This place is dirty and falling apart. They are cheaper on meats and have a few good sales weekly but a bunch of kids pretty much run the show so looks like nothing gets done. I shop there sometimes but I wish they would clean and fix it up. It is still the same except the help is getting more rude.

This is a older establishment. At one time they greeted as indiviuals walked though the door with a hello and a smile. Now, nothing just a turn of the head to see who's entering. I miss the old time country feel it once had. The one thing that hasn't changed is the way the freezer section has ice that covers the food lol. Beside that sometimes the fruit & vegetables aren't of good quality. However, they do have a good selection of items. I will shop here again.

I've been going to L&S for over 50 years. Know and have been very close with the Smith family members that long as well. They meat dept has the very best meat. The store is well organized and they treat you just like family. We drive nearly 30 miles just to get their meat. Thanks Wesley, John boy and rest of staff.

L&S is a smaller, older, country grocery with very nice people. It is a great place to get good buys on canned good for your pantry and frozen vegetables for your freezer. Their store brands are good quality and I love to stock up my pantry and freezer whenever I'm in Ardmore Tennessee. They also have good prices on meats, and their butcher Daryl is very nice and helpful. The building may not be the best but the people and good buys are great.

I shop here a lot. Mostly I find what I need, I just wish they stocked a selection of leafy greens in the produce section like Kale and loose leaf lettuce. I like the 50lb bags of dog food they sell and my dogs seem to do well on it. The teens working the register do a good job, but they don't talk much. It would be nice if they closed at 9 o'clock instead of 8pm because I can't always get there before that. Prices are fair but typically seem a little higher than the Piggly Wiggly.
