At 6:20 👉Horrible Came in today in so much paint I came to Gardendale CVS to get my Medicine I just left the hospital My doctor my Docter told, Me I can go to any CVS because prescriptions are paperless there digital now. The Pharmacist of Gardendale CVS; Said to Me after I Gave her my name she ran it in the computer and said she couldn’t find it then she found me and told me that my prescription was at Fultondale location of CVS I told her OK and went to CVS Fultondale this is a very long drive to get there. The Gardendale pharmacist told me to go to fultondale to Fill my prescription from my doctor and my doctor told me that I can go to any CVS I wondered why my doctor will tell me such a thing. The CVS Pharmacist in Gardendale told me a lie you can go to any CVS to get your Prescription she was very rude Very unprofessional don’t go here if you have never got meds here they will turn u away 🙃 I have now been able To edit after cooking dinner too take my meds (When I first wrote this I was unable to take my meds coming from a ER visit I had a shot in my hip My hip was in pain I could barely walk if u run your cameras to see my visit. I drove far to get there and was told That I had to Go to Fultondale to fill my prescription That I received from my docter your pharmacist told me that it was there .. long drive as well I got Too Fultondale CVS ) Then when I arrived Fultondale CVS The pharmacist there told me that I can go to any CVS not just one. I was very upset that your pharmacist would lie to me as she saw that I was in pain The Gardendale CVS pharmacist had me drive to another location and she knew that CVS Prescriptions can be filled at any location. I recommend that you go to Fultondale and not Gardendale The Fultondale pharmacist told me I didn’t have to come to Fultondale and that I could filled my prescription anywhere as long as it’s a CVS and that’s exactly what my doctor told me. I did not drive I had a loved one drive me and they were there with me, when this happened as well I was in too much pain to drive myself. Please do a better job at doing your job is serving the public and making sure that you’re doing your best to meet the needs of the public thank you

I know everyone wants to go home but if the pharmacy closes at 6 I should be able to get my prescriptions. 2nd time now I’ve come within time and they’ve told me either “they’re on lunch” or “ it’s close to closing” ………….but I need my prescriptions filled. Screw the epilepsy though I guess I’ll be alright til tomorrow. Unacceptable

I'm not one to give a negative review but I'm beyond fed up with Gardendale CVS pharmacy. I have had multiple issues with CVS but most recently I dropped off my prescription to be filled. Instead of telling me they don't have it, I'm told to come back in an hour and it will be ready. When I come back they tell me my medicine is out of stock and will not be in for 2 days. I asked for it to be transferred and they tell me no because it's already in their system and I will have to call my doctor to have him call in my prescription to another pharmacy. I called my doctor who said he is unable to just call in my prescription. I would have to take off work to go see my doctor to have a new prescription written (he is over 30 minutes away). I've sucked it up for 2 days waiting for my prescription and when I just called I was just told they don't know when it will be in and can't give me an exact date of when it is coming in (Maybe Friday). Honestly- if the pharmacy could have just let me know that they didn't have it in stock so I could have brought my prescription to another pharmacy to have it filled I wouldn't be this upset. Now I'm suppose to jump through hoops just to get one prescription filled and I find it absolutely ridiculous! I have always used CVS pharmacy where ever I have lived but after this whole ordeal with Gardendale pharmacy, I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

They have a great location and everyone is friendly. You can ship your UPS packages here too. The rewards you get from CVS for shopping here are a nice bonus. The pharmacy staff are very professional and caring. So take care of your prescriptions and package shipping in one trip.

The workers are incredible and the store looks fantastic! I always feel comfortable and cared for when I visit this specific CVS. When an employee has pride in their work, it shows!

Two siblings went into the Gardendale CVS to get narcan due to a family member having a history of overdosing. I actually referred them to the store. When they came in on Saturday July 3rd around 2:20PM CST, the pharmacist said they could no longer fill narcan without a prescription from a doctor based on a new Alabama state law? This of course blew my mind. I told them to go across the street to Walgreens and they gave it to them in 15 minutes. Also, the Walgreens pharmacist said she never heard of any such law and was completely baffled on why CVS would not fill it. Needless to say, we will never use CVS again. Nobody wants to get narcan unless they feel someone they love life's in jeopardy. What a shame that CVS wouldn't help them.

I had a prescription filled for my daughter and they failed to mix it. I had to go back in the cold and rain and explain what happened, only to be met by a young lady with an attitude. She didn’t apologize or say one word. She just “fixed” the prescription. Well I get home and the young lady put the wrong size stopper in the medicine and it fell into the bottle. I called to speak with the Pharmacist who was very non chalant and insincere. I don’t understand how these people could be so careless and unprofessional and working with something as important as medication. Very disappointed.

CVS is a great place to fill prescriptions, they have competitive prices and the staff is friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. I like that CVS gives you extra-bucks coupons on your purchases. CVS also mails out discount coupons that can be used with the extra-bucks. I like to use my coupons on the large makeup selection of items they have.

This is just another typical CVS and there's nothing particularly good about it. Customer service isn't great and at the front they won't help you unless you ask for something specific. These type of stores all have the same thing in common and that is pricing everything in the store as if the whole world has their goofy card. That way when you try to check out with no card you get hit with a ridiculous total. So, I just don't even go anymore. Would have rather had a restaurant or something else built here in this spot.
