Overall my visit here was a good experience. The cashiers were very nice, the food was good and the atmosphere was solid. I got the brisket, beans and mayo slaw. The brisket wasn't the best I ever had, but it was good. I'm a big fan of vinegar based red sauce and they had a solid version. The slaw was a home run and the beans would stand against the best. After my meal I got the peach cobbler to go and it was fire. I highly recommend the slaw and cobbler. I really dig the order and pay situation they have here, as opposed to a waiter/waitress. When the cashiers are accommodating, like they were, it's a win win for everyone. Kid-friendliness: It's a family establishment Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to impede wheel chairs.

The brisket is out of this world! The ribs are fantastic. My only complaint is the Mac,and cheese is ok,and the hash brown casserole is too rich. Aside from that I highlyy recommend boarhouse!

Ordered the brisket plate with fried okra and potato salad. The brisket was mostly fat, so not much to judge from. The fried okra was outstanding, the potato salad was mayo style (not my favorite) still was fresh. I'll give another try and order the pork (more of AL style BBQ). Sauces provided were good and sweet tea was on point. I'm from TX, so different states BBQ is intriguing to me. I like the local flavor of the place and many people greeted one another, which gave it a great and welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and great.

Hands down 🔥🔥🔥 barbecue… If I could give five stars twice I would… The brisket was absolutely delicious tender most great flavor, the sauces were outstanding the coleslaw was very good. One of my sides was homemade Banana pudding I was in Heaven…… it was so good the one of my friends work over that way I text them after I ate there the first time and asked them if they would bring me some for lunch when they got off. Yes and they did it was just absolutely great seriously‼️‼️

Good barbecue foods, excellent and quick service. Car shows on Saturday and live music...not sure if it is every Saturday though. Definitely add it to your list of restaurants to visit.

Overall this is one of the hardest types of restaurants to review for me these days because I have tried hundreds of them all over the country. As a result I am much more critical of the finer points. The slaw and baked beans were both good. But there was something almost silky and soft about the barbeque that was just a little off for me. I am guessing it was chopped and panned versus pulled. Also, the sauces could have been a little bolder for vinegar based sauces. Overall it was pretty good and was definitely a popular place which would appeal to most BBQ lovers. I am just a little on the pickey side.

My family and I were driving by this place and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. We were there around 5:30 pm and we were a little worried that it would be full. It was but we were able to find a table. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The food was very good and it was served fast. The half chicken plate had plenty of food. The dry rub has a little spice to it. I enjoyed it but I just wanted to let those who might not want spicy. The loaded potato was also very flavorful and filling. They have actual homemade banana pudding! Amazing! We cannot wait to come back and try some of the other food!
