Super friendly staff and a great selection. Most of the prices seemed pretty reasonable, but some of them were great deals. We met Larry behind the counter, and he seemed like a great guy. Will definitely be back.

If I can give them 0 stars I would. I have been living in Huntsville a bit over a year and it’s been great until today. My wife and I stopped in today to purchase a hand gun for my wife and we were racially profiled because we were speaking SPANISH. I was talking to my wife in Spanish about the different guns they had on display. Apparently is illegal for a husband who is more knowledgeable on weapons to speak to his wife and give his opinion about the different guns. We are both U.S citizens and both have permits to carry a concealed weapon. But apparently anyone who speaks a language other than English “ which we were also talking “ is considered a threat on Larry’s Pistol & Pawn Shop eyes. We have seen similar cases on social media about being racially profiled due to how you look and if you spoke another language other than English, we just thought that we would never have to go thru something like that. To respond to your response, the reason why the sales person really denied our purchase was because he couldn’t understand what we were speaking to each other. We answered every question he had for us but since he couldn’t understand us he figured that it was a straw purchase. I told the sales rep we were law abiding citizens, I have my permit to carry and own a weapon already. But he didn’t even wanted to hear what I had to say because since we were speaking in Spanish he assumed we were committing a crime. We also loved the way he was yelling at us as he accused us of being criminals for everyone to hear and see. We will never go back to do business at your store.

They make me wait close to and hour for background check that never came up after I purchase the fire arm they still charge me 50 dollars. I purchased all my guns with them never got any problem until now.

Sales person lied when inquiring about an item on sale , they just want your money and don't care about being honest , I'll buy from somewhere else when possible. Someone should open a competitor across the street.

Otw home from the beach, I was informed we were stopping at a gun store. Well I wasn't happy until I walked in to see all the jewelry. I have been looking for over a year for a vintage style mounting for my Mom's and Gma's diamonds. Angel came to my rescue. Im thrilled, my husband's happy....Thanks Angel!!

Trying to figure out why the “new” rifle I bought had rust on the bolt and inside the barrel… cleaned it before I was GOING to shoot it, but now will be returning for a refund hopefully. Never went to go shooting after seeing rust on the first patch through the barrel… then on the bolt slide…

So I've never purchased firearms from a business until today. A lot of people I look up to and respect recommended Larry's Pistol and Pawn Shop in Huntsville. My wife and I arrived there about an hour after they opened and they were already crazy busy. As we started looking around at handguns, a friendly gentleman behind the counter by the name of Jim politely asked us if we needed any help, what we were looking for, etc. We tried and held several handguns as Jim was very thorough with information. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable with what we were looking at and trying so we knew what we were purchasing. Ladies and gentlemen, this top notch service doesn't exist much anywhere anymore. This type of customer service is why we will now be forever customers there. I deeply appreciate it and will be recommending Larry's Pistol and Pawn Shop in Huntsville to anyone I know looking to purchase anything to do with firearms. Jim spent more than two hours with us and answered any questions we had. It was very busy there and he never made us feel rushed or unappreciated. Just before we finished up, Larry himself spoke to us with a friendly, warm and welcoming smile and told us, "Thank you for your business and we appreciate you." That was the icing on the cake, folks. Go there. You won't regret it.

The best gun prices in the area. It’s always crowded. But during Covid they let too many people in the store and increased their prices with maximum of one box of 9mm, .38, and 5.56mm. Has a good gun range.

As an upcoming gun lover, this place was on point. Absolutely a blast with these guys (and gal)! -Firearm safety course was informative and engaging -Plenty of guns to shoot (from newbie to expert) -Planning to go again (especially on weekends for full auto experience :) )
