Best gun shop in Huntsville, Alabama (AL) 2024

Great staff all around. Quite attentive and genuinely helpful. Gives great recommendations and suggestions. Wide variety of all things outdoors. They need to do more to market to the residents here as I fear they might leave, for lack of business. Always not busy. Need marketing guys !!! You got great items, with ok prices...just need to let the community you are here and what you offer. Five stars to the guy in the eyeglass section. He had a stutter, like myself, and was able to help us in an impeccable way. ~Shawna

If I can give them 0 stars I would. I have been living in Huntsville a bit over a year and it’s been great until today. My wife and I stopped in today to purchase a hand gun for my wife and we were racially profiled because we were speaking SPANISH. I was talking to my wife in Spanish about the different guns they had on display. Apparently is illegal for a husband who is more knowledgeable on weapons to speak to his wife and give his opinion about the different guns. We are both U.S citizens and both have permits to carry a concealed weapon. But apparently anyone who speaks a language other than English “ which we were also talking “ is considered a threat on Larry’s Pistol & Pawn Shop eyes. We have seen similar cases on social media about being racially profiled due to how you look and if you spoke another language other than English, we just thought that we would never have to go thru something like that. To respond to your response, the reason why the sales person really denied our purchase was because he couldn’t understand what we were speaking to each other. We answered every question he had for us but since he couldn’t understand us he figured that it was a straw purchase. I told the sales rep we were law abiding citizens, I have my permit to carry and own a weapon already. But he didn’t even wanted to hear what I had to say because since we were speaking in Spanish he assumed we were committing a crime. We also loved the way he was yelling at us as he accused us of being criminals for everyone to hear and see. We will never go back to do business at your store. ~Bienvenido
