Thank you Galina in returns for going above and beyond today when we had to return the plumbing parts because we over-purchased. Better to have too much than not enough. That way you don't have to stop working on your project to go get items you forgot. Anyway, she was very helpful and it was most appreciated.

When purchasing paint, please make sure that all communications are accurate. We purchased 3 gallons yesterday, with the understanding it could be returned if incorrect color. Upon attempting to return as it was no where near color indicated on top can, we were told we couldn't. Now we are stuck with 3 cans of paint due to Lowes communication error! Not a good way to do business.

This Lowe's is usually well stocked and easy to get to (but with a scenic drive over the mountain). There has always been ample parking and the layout is similar to other Lowe's stores in the area. The store has a great selection of flowers and plants at the appropriate times of the year. There is also a very good selection of top soil, landscaping items, fertilizer, mulch and garden tools. In other words, it is a prime shopping point for the Harry homeowners in Hampton Cove and surrounding areas. On our last landscaping project, which has now extended over three days, I have made four trips to Lowe's. Unfortunately, I had to go to a 2nd Lowe's as the landscaping bricks I was seeking were out of stock at this location. There is a good computer system for checking on availability and the location within the store for finding items. In this instance, there were reportedly 219 of the bricks I wanted in stock. When I got there, there were only two actually available. I checked availability at the Lowe's in SE Huntsville and there were about 1300 reportedly available. So I ended up going to that store for the these items. While spread apart, there are several Lowe's stores in the area. This particular Lowe's, in Owens Crossroads, Alabama was very busy on a Sunday morning with lines at all checkouts and also at the Customer Service desk. Their business model is obviously successful for a reason and they have tapped into a large market for their products and services. They make it relatively easy to find items for a project and in many instances they will arrange for installation of their products. So, the store may be crowded, there are times when popular products will be out of stock but the the selection is good, the open hours are long and getting in and out of the store is easy.

Middle of the day on the weekend and there is one cashier open. No self checkout and 2 or 3 employees just looking around. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the guys back by windows actually stopped what they were doing when we were browsing and asked if they could help us find anything.

I was in there on Apr 15 to purchase a washing machine and deck sealer. Sylvia was so friendly and eager to help me find a washer to fit my needs and one that was in stock. I was also trying to find stain for my deck. Zack was so kind and helped me to find what I needed and helped me to know how much I needed. The associates were so courteous and most helpful.

Don't usually shop at this Lowe's. But according to the app they had the electric box I was looking for. Only went in for 2 items. There were employees in both aisles that were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Most helpful! May need to shop this location more often.

I ordered over 5k worth of appliances from Lowes.com. I checked to make sure every item I ordered was in stock and could be delivered for free. After a phone call to the store to make sure I could have everything delivered, a delivery date was set. It was set farther out because even though 1 of the items was shown to be in stock and it wasn't. The delivery date arrived and the truck showed up with only part of my order. When I called the store they told me that some other items weren't in stock and was sent to another store, that I would have to call that store to find out where they were at. After several hours on the phone with different people who knew nothing about my order I was finally able to talk to a manager who told me they wouldn't deliver my last item because I was outside of their delivery mileage. I explained to them that I didn't order from their store and that another Lowes store sent my order there. They refused to deliver it and cancelled my order with the instructions to re-order from the original store. All this came after I had paid for the appliance and all delivery fees (which was supposed to be free delivery). NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM LOWES. Terrible experience. Sever times over the phone I was told " let me look into this and I'll call you back" I never received a phone call back from anyone. I was actually told from a Lowes manager " I don't work for Lowes.com so I can't help you. Horrible customer service.
