Signed up for Toyota Corolla, was given a Prius. Agent explained how auto worked for good gas mileage. I received 54 mpg on my trip. Auto had great response, good leg room and comfortable.

Very customer service oriented staff for Avis at Texarkana Airport Webb Field and great prices. Only problem, no key drop box outside to return vehicle after hours, Terminal says they close at 12 am, 11:15pm all doors locked and no security or drop box had to drive 50 miles next morning to return keys and process out, this had nothing to do with Avis, Airport should have night security or some type personnel to let patrons access services at terminal.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Rented a Toyota Tacoma for 6 days for my first time ever renting a vehicle. I chose Avis because no where else had vehicles available. Quick and easy initial transaction. The truck smelled of smoke and old socks and the detail job was extremely poor. Didn’t bother me, I needed the vehicle, so I took it and noted the odors. When I turned it back in, a young gentleman was driving it around the parking lot to check and clean it. I left after he had been in the truck for 10 minutes. I then received a call 24 hours later claiming I “cracked” the windshield and they needed me to come up there and file it on my insurance immediately! I checked the the truck from front to back before I turned it in. I actually turned it in in better condition than it was given to me. When I asked him why nothing was said to me till now he said they didn’t notice it till now. I asked him why the gentleman driving it around the parking lot didn’t say anything when I turned it in. He tried to tell me no one had been in it until the next day! Lies! Trying to charge people for their mistakes! Don’t go Avis, people!

Good customer service. There is a shortage of rental cars at this location. It would be a mistake to want a particular type of car and not have made a reservation well in advance. It is easy to access the counter, and the staff is courteous. The reduction of one star is due to the small window of hours of operations. This is not the fault of staff, but it is a sizeable inconvenience. They open about 10 am and close before 6 pm. If you want to get a morning car, spur of the moment, you are out of luck at this location. If you need to return the car in the morning, and need to discuss matters with an on site agent, you are again out of luck at this location. The word is make sure to make an reservation several days before pickup, and hope you don't need on-site assistance before 10 am.

I reserved a Corolla or similar vehicle. The clerk said they didn’t have a vehicle clean for me, so if I didn’t have a problem driving a truck I could get it for the same price. The truck wasn’t clean either inside or out. My rental was for three days. I called to extend the rental two days. They said no problem. When I returned the vehicle I was rushing and didn’t fill the tank. They charged me $10.00 per gallon for gas. They also charged me the rate for the truck, although the clerk said she wasn’t since my reservation car wasn’t available. Then even though I called before my rental expired charged lates fees.
