I attempted to go inside your calabasas location to purchase several last minute items needed for an event tomorrow. I drove all the way from Malibu and luckily made it to the door at 6:58/6:59. As I was walking in to come inside, the associate working rushed to close AND lock the door (right in my face !) even though the store hadn’t closed yet and would not allow me in. I begged her, through the door, to open it and said it’s not even 7:00 yet! I said I can pay in cash, knew what I needed and wouldn’t take up her time as I have worked in retail before and know the frustration of last minute customers. However, what she doesn’t know is- usually the last customers can be your best sale of the day as they typically come in with the intention to buy. I continued to beg her from the outside of the door to please let me come in and purchase the items I needed, and her response was “I already closed the register” and continued to argue with me in an attempt to make me go away. By this time, it was 7:00 and I told her I was going to contact customer service since she closed the doors prior to business operating hours. I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service I (did not) receive. The associate working was incredibly rude and it was embarrassing as other people saw that were walking by. There was another gentleman that got there at 7:00 who also intended to go in but saw the associate would not allow me in. I rushed to make it here by 7:00 and now drove all the way to Calabasas for no reason, AND am leaving extremely upset and empty handed. I have never been treated like this in my life.
