I'm new to the area. Other Best Buy locations I've been to are great because staff are always eager to help you find what you're looking for. At this location, I'm lucky to be greeted by anyone working there other than the greeter by the door. Anytime I seek someone out for help, they look eager to get away or find someone else who's willing to deal with a customer in need. Definitely not the atmosphere I want to be in while shopping. To make matters worse, the cashier I encountered today was on a personal call on her cell phone while ringing up customers, and the shelves are mostly empty in multiple departments. Is anyone here actually working?? I do not recommend this location to shop at. Seems like no one here cares to do well at their job.

A typical Best Buy. I love to visit the Best Buy for shopping gadgets and electronics. Today I stopped by for buying an optical cable for my speakers. I got what I was looking for. The staff was nice and helpful. They helped me to find the right product quickly. I recommend the store highly.

Went for a TV that wad said to be in stock. Even called customer service desk to ensure because we were driving from Memphis. Waited over 30 min because so associate said it was at the very top and he couldn't get to it. We talked to the manager and the manager told him to get it. He came back and said it was on the truck and to come back tomorrow. We came back and was told they were getting it. We waited over an hour. 5 diffrent people came every 10 mins to tell us they were getting it until wr got fed up and asked for the manager again. The manager said they're getting it but they grabbed the wrong one. 10 mins later he comes back and says it's not in stock. So instead of telling us to begin with he lied and sent 5 diffrent people to tell us that they were getting our TV. Worst experience. May you continue to never prosper.

I attempted to return a few items to Best Buy Southaven today. I did not want my money back I only wanted store credit to get a different item at the store. They absolutely refused to exchange anything without a receipt. We were able to find receipts for two of the items obviously showing the items had been purchased at a Best Buy. The one item I did not have the receipt for was still in the box and still covered in plastic from the store. The employees, to include a manager, refused to work with us at all. I politely asked for my items back and stated I no longer wanted to do business with this location. It absolutely baffles me that the one item I don’t have a receipt for is still boxed in the original packaging with the original shrink wrap and it couldn’t be exchanged. I guess in the future we shouldn’t purchase gifts from Best Buy because you can’t exchange them. Update: I spoke with the customer service line at Best Buy and they advised it would be the manager’s discretion to accept the item with no receipt. So I guess the managers at the Southaven location won’t take exchanges on UNOPENED ITEMS THAT WERE GIVEN AS A GIFT. I DON’T HAVE A RECEIPT BECAUSE I DID NOT PURCHASE THE ITEM. Smaller than I remember them being, and they were out of some things. I reckon that's the way things are now. I found a few things I want to acquire, like the Bose speaker and a few other items. It seems their pricing is worthy and the store is pretty clean. I will say the only one that spoke to me was the security guard....

Friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely buy the product replacement plan if your device is eligible. Ours broke and we had the plan which is good for 3 years. It was so simple to just carry it inside, no box or anything, and get the replacement. Our model was out of stock so it had to be ordered but still, Definitely worth the purchase of the geek squad replacement plan.

They had two different sets of 6x9's that might of worked but they weren't on display to look at or listen to. No one approached us to see if we needed help. My husband said he thinks he'll just order them online if he can't listen to them anyway. The way of the future if brick and mortar don't rethink.

I visited the geek squad, with a laptop not powering on. They did some quick troubleshooting and gave me a realistic estimate on what was wrong and a ballpark of the repair cost. I appreciate their honesty and recommendation. Unfortunately, with a bad motherboard, a new laptop would be cheaper.
