Pulled into Cambria around 5:00 and our hotel suggested Madeline’s. We called and were able to get in (it was a Friday night so we were happy they could accommodate us) and it was fantastic. The manager, server, and staff help were awesome. My wife had the special (Salmon) and I had the Filet. Both were cooked to perfection. It was a remarkable meal in a nice setting that I would recommend to anyone who loves good food! Even had time afterwards to catch a beautiful sunset!

My best friend and I only went in for dessert but ended up getting some wine and tasting the Bruschetta. If you like veggies this Bruschetta is a must to try, it was so flavorful and good! Also, the service and desserts were amazing!

Delicious experience coming to the bistro a cozy and friendly atmosphere since you arrive to the place, we didn't know that we need to make reservations, but even though they accommodate us quite fast and made sure we were having a good time. The catch of the they was fresh, the po lano soup really tasty, the filet mignon medium well done delicious, the gumbo seafood really tasty the only thing is I would love to have less sausages on my plate that kind of overwhelmed the rest of the dish flavor, they offer good selection on wine and the desserts either one Delicious, so if you are driving by the pacific coast hwy spend dome time visiting Cambrias Madeleine Restaurant yes is kind of pricey but believe me is well worth it.

This was our first time at Madeline's Restaurant and we loved it. Such an intimate setting inside, warm and inviting. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! Their cream of mushroom soup is amazing, so flavorful and the chicken stock base keeps the soup less dense than regular cream. Their chicken dish and fresh fish catch of the day dinners were cooked really well, loads of flavor and beautiful presentation. And dessert...omg...the raspberry key lime pie was SOO good!!

Very good food! We had the pork chop, filet mignon and were also able to try the fish of the day with was trout. Perfectly cooked and great flavors, service was perfect. Fantastic wine selection and ended with a few desserts including a lime pie with raspberry sauce and layered chocolate cake. Definitely a must visit if you are in Cambria

Came for the weekend to Cambria with the hubby and found this gem. Service was really good was able to get reservation that same day we got lucky though. Saturdays seem pretty busy definitely try to make reservations in advance. Food was amazing and tasteful.

A wonderful fine dining experience, with all the best wine choices to pair, if you like wine. It was our Christmas dinner, and we were super happy with our meal. The service was excellent, fast, and attentive (Angel was our server). I had one of the day's special, an absolutely perfect salmon, and my partner had the chicken, stuffed with mushroom, spinach and brie, with a side of market vegetables, and potatoes "gratin dauphinois" style. My salmon also came with vegetables, and saffron rice. All in all a great experience!!

We had the Madeline salad and spinach salad to start. He loved the spinach salad. I had the halibut special on risotto which was better than expected. He loved the filet. The food was amazing! And the service was great! There was a bit of a wait when we first got there since we were sitting outside with our pup. But it was worth the wait! We had the scallops, filet mignon, duck and raspberry key lime pie. So yummy!!! The photos don't do the dishes justice.

Quick Summary Fantastic food and great value. Ambiance was great as well. Food- 5 stars I was surprised by how delicious the food was, especially since I glanced into the kitchen and noticed how small it was Spanish octopus- we were slightly surprised by how it was prepared. the dish was delicious, but the octopus had more of a crispy texture (Versus the standard grilled octopus) Stuffed quail- delicious and juicy as well. Some parts of the quail were slightly dry, but it probably was because I was taking pictures of our dishes Soup of the day- this was such a rich and delicious soup. Probably my favorite of the day Beef stroganoff- this was the special of the day. The short rib was so tender and the sauce was so rich and delicious. would order again Service- 4 stars The servers were attentive and accommodating. One of the servers seemed a bit slow and new, so deducted it by 1 star. It didn't mess with our dining experience at all, but it was a bit off Parking There's plenty of parking in the downtown area, but may need to walk a bit since the outdoor tables are blocking a few spots Bottom Line Great food, great weather, and great ambiance. Will be coming back!
