I am a Chula Vista local, I’ve been coming here for years. I would Recommend you AVOID target. It used to be my go to ..for the shopping experience but the lines are out of control. There’s only self check out with an average of 25 people in line and 1 register open. When I thought of my go to convince store I always consider walmart more affordable and target a ‘better experience’ but now it’s not worth it If your avoid horrible lines head to ur local Walgreens/ CVS instead Or Walmart

The store was semi-organized though. The aisles were not cluttered and it did appear the items were well stocked. The lines were ridiculously long. I saw one cashier checking customers out and everyone else standing in line for self-checkout. I did notice at least four other employees that were standing near the front register/door area. The bathroom was disgusting. The smell slapped you in the face as soon as you walked into the doorway. There was toilet paper in one and all the ladies were kind enough to share with the next. Most of the soap dispensers didn’t have soap in them. Three of the four sinks also didn’t even try to turn on.

The restrooms are nasty. This is how management works here. No soap to wash hands. I am reporting to public health.

Not answering landline. Have important question about baby food. Came back to edit this an hour later bcus they are still not answering. I asked if she had baby food whoever answered at 5:04pm she said yes. I told her I went yesterday and I knew they have almost all there shelf empty I asked if they were still like that and she then replied yes. Had I not asked that question she would've tricked me into driving all the way over there. Please talk to this employee.

I ordered a bike for my daughter online . I waited the 2 hour for it to be ready to be picked up . Only to get there and surprise surprise it was the used , damaged store display . I asked for a new one and they told me they could not give me another one as they have to give one that was already built and not in original package … and there was no one available to put it together for me .. disappointed big time !! Terrible customer service. Would give 0 stars

Went in for shoes, shirts and pants. The shoe selection is extremely limited and very disorganized with many pairs strewn about the floor. I found a pair of jeans and asked the attendant if he could find another pair. He pulled up inventory which show a few pair still available but neither he or I could find them. The entire clothing section was very disorganized with piles of clothing needing to be separated. This is the worst Target store I have experienced in 2 states.

I did some shopping early morning to beat the crowd. I was at this Target location around 9am, grabbed a small hand basket because my intention was to not buy too much stuff, 1st mistake. I ended up with a full basket and both hands carrying items struggling to get to the register. I did set my basket down to adjusted some items so I can have more space and make it slightly easier to carry, but not once did any employee ask if I needed a larger cart . When I set the basket down I also set my phone down, 2nd mistake. I remember I needed something else and forgot to grab my phone, and grabbed only the basket and the 8pk of Gatorade in the other hand. Before heading to the register I went back to grab the phone I had left in the soda aisle. It was gone! Was advised to check customer service desk, but nothing was returned. I did ask if they can check the cameras, but was told the security guard was in a meeting. This time it had to be close to 10am 10:30. I said ok I'll wait. Another manager arrived and asked about the phone and said the security guard will be out of this meeting at 11 and he can check the cameras then. Ok fine now 8 minutes till 11. She returns to me and said the 11am security guard didn't show up for his shift and the 8am security guard quit along with she's short handed because other employees called out. Now at this point I figured out the "meeting" excuse was a lie and there is no one to check cameras. She rudely said, "what do you want out of this, your phone is gone". I replied with Not if an employee stole it. I told her I work for a Grocery store and I know how lost and stolen items can be recovered. She did not ask for my name or the time stamp of when I lost it(I had to offer that info)or any resolution. She did mention another security guard should be there at 2, I told her I will follow up with her at that time... also wasn't her suggestion. 3rd and Final mistake was shopping at this Location. Beware!!! NO SECURITY GUARDS Right Now for 8am and possibly 11am;) !!!! Poor management skills.

WARNING! (((Public Health Threat))) Target knowingly sells products containing dangerous artificial fragrances. These products include laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items... etc. Considering the data that is available today surrounding the toxicity of "artificial fragrances", I feel guided to bring awareness to this. The fragrance industry governs themselves and is greenlighting the use of chemicals that are already BANNED, RESTRICTED or deemed HAZARDOUS by many reputable authoritative bodies and government agencies around the world. Therefore, the production and supply of ANY product with the word "fragrance" in its list of ingredients is not only irresponsible, but also well documented as being harmful to our health. The average artificially scented product, be it lotion, hand sanitizer or laundry detergent, contains 100-300 synthetic compounds to create that fragrance. This is known as a CHEMICAL COCKTAIL. You and your family are unknowingly breathing and putting these chemicals on your skin everyday while going out to eat, going shopping, at the gym and at home. Laundry and cleaning supplies contain the most volatile of these toxins. I deeply appreciate this establishment and their stores have served me greatly over the years but I must encourage Target to remove and discontinue the availability of any item that contains the word "fragrance". For the well-being of your employees, the community, and the world, please stop. This is not an accusation or a demand, but an invitation to stand up for what really matters. I believe we all deserve to be healthy and breathe fresh air. And you have the opportunity and the power to impact this directly and immediately. The unregulated use of artificial fragrances in business and homes has reached the level of being a "Public Health Threat", similar to what happened with cigarette smoke 20 years ago. Target exists for one reason, to be in service to the community. And by allowing customers and workers to purchase and be exposed to definitively toxic chemical fumes and substances, they are are putting the community at risk. This is not just bothersome or simply a personal preference, fragrance is now being classified by many health agencies as the NEW SECOND HAND SMOKE... Businesses and individuals will not be able to ignore this for much longer. The world is discovering just how harmful and unnecessary these chemical fragrances are. Many work places are already being forced to institute fragrance free policies from the plethora of health conditions people are developing due to exposure to artificially scented products. Health issues related to fragrance include, exema, asthma, migraines, ADHD, autism, hormonal disorders, birth defects, depression, autoimmune disorders... etc. I truly hope that Target makes this adjustment and implements a policy that regulates this. It is worth it. And for all individuals not yet aware of this phenomenon, please switch to unscented laundry, personal hygiene and cleaning supplies at home as soon as possible. The health of you and your family could be at risk if you use artificially scented products. This is not about right and wrong, it is about awareness and choice... and community. I know we are all doing our best. It is very rare for me to speak out over a societal issue like fragrance, but I feel this is the right time. My sincere gratitude for anyone who decides to contribute to a fragrance free world.

5th time coming here and the bathrooms are once again vile. Before I turn to go into the bathroom the hallway floor leading into bathroom is sticky and dirty with filth. Every stall is filled with used toilet paper piles by the toilet on the floor, the floor around the to toilet is wet, there was bowels in the last stall, and a stinch that made me want to vomit. I LEFT THE STORE. That bathroom made me not want to by anything. Any manager that allows this type of lack of hygiene constantly in a store that sells produce, meat, and groceries people consume should not be operating a store, let alone a TARGET.
