It is really sad that I have to give a 1 star review but all support ends after you have made a purchase. They say that if you buy a piano from them, the first tuning is free. We got our piano from them almost a year ago. After calling numerous times, and trying to get our piano tuned, and giving my phone number as well, I have never gotten an update or a call back. Every time, Ron, who is very nice to talk to, will say he will get someone and then nothing - no call back, no update. This has been extremely frustrating. I have been patient and understand there is some labor shortage etc due to Covid, but this takes the cake. I wish I had gone with a different business to buy our piano

Beautiful pianos.. Mostly Yamahas. Ron, at the store, was super nice. The store has used and new pianos. My son loved playing on the pianos, especially the high end ones.

Be careful of this place, especially the after sale service. I bought a piano a year ago and it started to have quality issue, which I called the store several times to request the service under warranty. The store had many excuses and did not schedule the service or provided me updates for weeks. People there are very impatient and impolite when I called to check the service request status.

We could not be more pleased with our experience at Music Exchange. They exceeded our expectations in every way! Looking to buy a digital piano to replace a very old upright acoustic, I'd done a ton of online research and had Yamaha's Clavinova CLP-645 as my top choice. I chose Music Exchange because they were an actual piano store, not a general musical instrument store, and because they had great reviews online. Gary, the store owner, was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable, helpful, and (even though he's been selling pianos for a long time), he exuded a sincere passion in showing me various features on the model I was considering. After my initial questions were answered, he went back to his desk and let me play around on the piano at my leisure. When I wanted to play a couple other models and had more questions, he made himself readily available. What was especially wonderful about our shopping experience, was that we didn't feel any sales-pressure from Gary. When we left that day, we didn't make a purchase, as I wanted to look at my online research again and confirm that this was truly the piano I wanted to invest in. Gary shook our hands, waved goodbye, and cheerfully wished us a good day. When we returned the following day to make our purchase, Gary was there and again very helpful. We highly recommend Music Exchange to anyone looking to buy either a digital or an acoustic piano. They have a large selection of piano types and brands, all available for customers to play on. Be sure to bring some samples of music of your own to play, in order to help you in your selection process! Their store and their pianos are all super clean - everything we experienced with this store was top-notch. We've already advised our 9-year-old niece's parents, who live an hour from Dublin, to shop at Music Exchange when they upgrade her from her current portable keyboard to an acoustic or digital piano. From our experience, Music Exchange's selection, prices, and service are unbeatable.

I recently purchased the Yamaha CLP645 from Music Exchange and the experience was excellent!!! I've been researching digital pianos for awhile now and had 3 pianos in mind. The staff helped me narrow my choice down to the CLP 645 based on my needs and I could not be happier with my choice. There is a reason Music Exchange is the best in Nor Cal. They have the knowledge, selection, and knowledge. Seriously go here to purchase your piano!

Nice showroom with lots of beautiful pianos. Gary was super helpful. Only complaint is they only carry Yamaha digitals, so can't compare to their brands. That said I think Yamaha makes me of the best.

Music Exchange, is one of the best place to purchase a piano. I had a great experience with Gary and Mary. Gary explained me a lot of things that I needed to know. I will definitely purchase another piano here.

Gary and Mary are pleasant and helpful. Pianos are a big purchase item and it's nice to have people who will take the time to guide through the process. Ultimately I purchased a used piano through a private owner, but wouldn't hesitate to make a deal with Music Exchange if the circumstances warranted.
