Only walked the gardens and on a busier day. What a beautiful location! The gardens are well kept and amazing! The views of the ocean from the cliff top are beautiful too. Other visitors are mostly respectful of the serene environment and help maintain a calming, quiet vibe. Even on a busy day, it is a welcome escape. There are some stairs within the walkways, but it shouldn't prove too difficult for young and old alike. This space is used by many for quiet reflection and meditation, so if you're a noisy crew you might choose another destination out of consideration for others.

When searching Google for “srf store Encinitas” the results show the hours for the meditation center and not the bookstore. The correct information would have saved us a drive.

People come to meditate . Enjoy the garden but remember this is a place of peace and Serenity. Not a place for you to run around and talk loudly. Go when you want to relax and enjoy nature or the ocean. Lovely garden kept up perfectly. Not a place yo eat and drink. A place to read a book, pray or relax in peace.

The perfect place to calm your soul, to align your thoughts, to soak in the suns energy and feel powerful. You leave floating. Grateful for your experience here. I often would come with a small snack and my water to enjoy a few hours along the trail sitting in different parts along the way because each space makes you feel different. The shady koi pond lets you relax and listen to the trickle of water as the koi cuts the the pond water in front of you. Gentle splashing of water as they chase each other. The pool section is nice to have alone time, snuggle into a corner and meditate. The open air space on the cliff has several benches to soak up the sun and watch the ocean and drift away in your thoughts.
