Have been recommending Aussie A/C to many locals around la Habra because of how great they have helped me in all my ac problems.

Seems they are ripping people off. Told them my air was still blowing cold air but when fan was on high was only blowing low. They did a "diagnosis" and said there is a freon leak gave estimate of $650. I was like do I look stupid that won't fix my problem of the fan not blowing high. So told them it seems to me like it might be blower resistor. 5 min later come back with a quote for that to be fixed $450...but I was like is that the real problem?!?! Then they wanted to charge me $55 for them diagnosing the problem...which they never even really diagnosed...they just gave me quotes of things they don't even guarantee will fix the problem....BEWARE

I went to this place to get my ac fixed because it was not getting cold. I waited and hour while the guy diagnosed it. After he was done he said my compressor was frozen and it was gonna be $450 to fix it. I went to auto zone bought the $30 can of ac pro and like magic my car started blowing cold air. It's been a year later and it still works, this place always was in the back of my head knowing they rip people off it's sad.

One start for fast service. Beaid a that they are over priced, and they burned my car stereo by grounding battery with metal. They didn't admit to it I would never take my car to them again there are others mechanics on the same plaza that can do the same jobs.

Great customer service, give you a good description of what's wrong with your vehicle and they give you the estimate to see if your comfortable with the price. Before you pay. They did an amazing job and the process was on working with the vielchle was quick.

They were awesome! My 2013 Altima started blowing 'cool' air only. They checked for warranties and recalls. Next they replaced the condenser. My car is now really really COLD. It is BETTER than when it was brand new. I am so happy - I would recommend Aussie AC to anyone. They were knowledgeble and worked late into the evening to give me my car that same day without and appointment on 100 degree day.....

This place is just a one person shop. I felt that they just want the easy jobs. Among the work my car needed was to change the A/C belts, the guy recommended I replace all the belts since they would be easy to to do. When I went to collect the car, I was told that it required more work than anticipated so they just changed the A/C belts, they did not even bother to call me to give an option.

I am going to write an honest review. Not bashing because I'm mad( which I am) but giving other people honest feedback from someone mechanically inclined. I went to Aussie auto AC for my Ac not being cold. I didn't want to mess with freon and took it in. A $20 diagnosis turned into an $80 electric diagnosis. That's fine. The issue reported to me was a bad AC thermostat and my PCM (ECU) needed to be recalibrated (2 hours equaling $153). My red flag flags went up when I heard about recalibrating the PCM I have never heard of that. I spoke with them multiple times to make sure I wasn't hearing wrong, they do have strong accents. The part (ac thermostat) was more expensive than the Honda dealer and same labor time as Honda. I would have only saved about $50 by going to Aussie and I would rather have Honda do that repair. However after testing everything and getting other opinions the Ac thermostatic switch did need to be replaced but the ECU was fine. I am not sure if he thought my car was OBD I but either way this was not needed not possible. When he sensed I had knowledge of the system and PCM he never said the same way to fix it. One time if was calibrate, next time was rewire, and so on. The actual estimate didn't say PCM but A/C Amplifier. There is no such thing. In the end I got it running with a new thermostat switch in the evaporator. I will never go back since this blatant lie has taught me not to trust them.

Im a mechanic myself. I spent 40 dollars for nothing on Ac do it yourself kits I should have brought my car here sooner, shop owner is really nice and so is his wife very nice humble people and they have great prices. I walked out of there with my 1992 civic blowing extremely cold and i recommend this place to everyone
