Very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog was a new patient with an ear infection and they were able to see him in a reasonable time and performed several check ups. We're looking forward to our next visit.

I brought my puppy to see Dr. Allen and she was great. She answered all my questions and was great with my pup. The staff was very professional and helpful. I will continue to bring my puppy to this location.

Our lovely 17-year-old cat passed away at the VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital under critical care. After going forward with our $7000.00 high-end estimate, my family was troubled by how it ended. We opted to get our cat cremated. The VCA process is severely flawed. They didn't tell us that there was a prepackaged agreement with the crematory. The VCA said to us that the crematory would contact us. I followed up with the VCA by getting the crematory information the next day, but by then, the crematory had already begun its process. My family would have liked to have received our pet's hair clipping and, at the very least, choose the urn.

horrible experience! second shelter adoption but first VCA visit. last adoption I was told to go to a normal vet and sure enough it was "free" like they had said, this time was told to go to VCA and "free" turned out to be $134.85. would not mind the charge if they actually did something, the exam turned out to be just the vet talking to us while holding out new kitten down but not really examining, except for the part when he was pulling the new sutures apart so far they were about to pop and telling us he probably has to cut them out, told him they we were told they would dissolve, which they did, but he did not seem to believe us. also, when I made the appt. I asked if they wanted me to email over the "digital" records I received from the shelter, they said no, we will scan them when you come in. well the receptionist scanned them but the Vet Tech did not get them so I needed to have her look and my physical copies, then when the vet came in, same thing, did not have the "digital" records and had to look at our hard copies. something else was weird, they took the kitten to the back to get his shots and made us wait in the lobby, she was 3 feet from the door to hand the kitten over in his carrier when something distracted he and she just put the kitten down and walked away, 20 more minutes of the kitten crying before she came back and handed him to us. also, kitten had one eye removed because of an infection, and all our cats are indoor as well, but VCA insisted the we get on a monthly flea medicine regiment and gave us a "free" sample, to put on a kitten with a clearly open wound! and lastly they charged us a $25.00 "witness fee for adopting! what the HE**!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a vet for my kitty. The staff here is very professional; they are very efficient, especially the front desk. Their wait times are low and the staff does a great job with scheduling and returning calls to answer any questions. Dr. Fezio is awesome too, she did a great job on my cat's dental cleaning!

Very friendly staff. The doctor (sorry can't remember her name) was very hands on with our pups. She asked tons of questions and actually wanted to know all their past and not just their current issues. Talked about their age and tips to help them. Never have we taken our pups in for a health checkup and had such a caring doctor. Hands down, one of the best Vets we've been to! Fantastic experience!

Hit and miss. Always depends on what doctors are on duty. I waited 30 minutes in the exam room before anyone came in. I had to call and remind them I was there. Was there for a rabies shot and they needed to do an exam before they did it. The exam was them telling me my dog was nervous, checking her ears by looking at them (without any doctor tools) and listening to her heart. I've been through exams with her before... this was very quick for what I paid. Then they try to load you up on a bunch of stuff your pet doesn't need. I was really irritated when I left. Normally have a good experience but after COVID this place went downhill.

Brought my new kitten in today to have a check up after receiving poor service from another VCA animal hospital. Grossmont VCA went above and beyond. I learned that all the VCAs are not connected. This one is small, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they really listened to my concerns. They took care of my kitten and honored the certificate we received from SPCA after adopting him. We will absolutely be going there for regular care for our animals. Thank you so much for taking care of Larry today!
