Amazing sandwiches and great organic salad selection. Food is amazing with authentic 70s flavor. No added preservatives. Strongly suggest to try here of you visit the area. Great attentive service from the owners.

My wife and I love our meals here! The selections are great and the food is delicious. With all of the choices nearby this is our favorite. Homey, always easy to find a table, fast service and reasonable prices.

Their scones and muffins are made locally and they are just great, fresh and with such a good smell. Loved the blueberry scone and the banana muffin.

Masks are loosely worn in the kitchen, which has questionable cleanliness. Food is "ok", however it's not clear what is organic and what is not. I'm not a fan of the assumptions the owner makes in the reply related to political issues. This review is about the lack of care given to customers in the context of this restaurant ONLY.

We have been here a few times before today. 9 year old is a fan of the french toast (made with fresh baked cinnamon and raisin). The grilled chicken and avocado club sandwich on fresh baked garden and herb bread is kind of the best thing we have had, especially after working up an appetite walking the nearby reservoir. We have decided to make Rising Loafer our go to family Sunday lunch spot. Had a moment to speak to owners. Lovely people. They told us they had been in business for 20 years. Here is hoping we can enjoy them for 20 more.

Crepes! Breakfast crepes, savory crepes, dessert crepes, all delicious. Greek crepe is particularly recommended. The staff is also extremely friendly, and there is a small outdoors seating area perfect for a quiet lunch.

Great breakfast at this very welcoming cafe. We shared an egg scramble and a large bowl of very fresh fruit and fine coffee. The owners are very attentive and their hospitality is evident in every aspect of their food preparation and service. We look forward to returning here soon for another meal.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and are glad we did! Turns out they bake their bread daily, and even roast turkey everyday. Wonderful couple runs the place and really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. Turns out, everything about the restaurant is green and sustainable, from food scraps to compost, to rainwater or recycled water for the garden out back. This independent restaurant is a true find and one we will go back to!
