You might drive right past this place without noticing it, but I'm glad I did! Really great atmosphere, appreciate the seating out back and in front. They've got a potting station there where you can get advice on potting your plants, and the store itself has a lot of cool decor, books, plants, and clothing. Their indoor bar offers beer and wine selections. The only improvement would be if they offered coffee!

It’s not just a shop, it’s a PLACE. You can shop or hang in the patio and bar. I not a want-er BUT I wanted everything in here. Clothes, decor, plants, gifts, food, drinks, vibe. I kept saying out loud, “I LOOOVE THIS”.

Beautiful atmosphere open floor plan products not products not crowded displayed with great taste. This shop has a great array of products That are displayed in A great way so that you can find the things that are appropriate for you and see everything and even touch everything to get a feel from what you want to purchase. Plants incense candles crystals and different pieces of art were very attractive and not just the ability to purchase them but the way they are displayed. Within this block of vintage stores that are packed with items this store has a very relaxing enjoyable feel to it there's books there's clothing I believe there's even an eatery in the back. It also has a peaceful front sitting eating area for of ambience with a fire pit in the front.This is definitely a conscious thinking shopping experience just to go in and look and experience the store is worth walking in. If you happen to walk out with goods or a full stomach even better. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Tanya and Gabriela at The Golden Garden did an AMAZING job with my wedding florals!! if you're looking for incredible, talented, floral artists who pay close attention to detail and will make your vision come to life then pull the trigger on this pair! I had a national park themed wedding and asked Tanya to give me tons of color and wildflowers, I gave her some photos of what I had in mind for the reception centerpieces and told her to do whatever she wanted for the ceremony and I couldn't have been happier with the result. she asked tons of questions about details I never would have thought about to be sure she got everything just right. everything was so cohesive and well thought out, my husband's boutonniere perfectly complemented my bouquet, the mixture and selection of flowers was done so beautifully and artistically. we received so many complements on our floral arrangements and will 100% be going to her for any future events. and on top of the amazing florals Tanya also offers bouquet preservation and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

The Hangout is definitely someplace you would want to hangout at. Super friendly and chill vibe, we were greeted and welcomed right away and that’s how we found out the this lovely place is a collective of three different shops. Bel Campo Books - sells a variety of books for all ages. The Golden Garden - Purchase a plant and pot (separately) and go to the backyard garden and replant it, soil and garden tools provided. The Market - Has a variety of specialty items like sauces, chips, honey and gifts. They also sell loose leaf teas and small sweets. If you are looking for a gift, The Hangout is a perfect one stop shop. There is a selection of clothes and gift items for everyone on your list. Located in Long Beach on 4th & Cherry known as Retro Row.

This is an amazing store, where you can shop for books, plants, home goods, and more! I've been to Bel Canto Books twice now, and it's a must-visit for the area. The selection is amazing and The Hangout has something for everyone!

We were supposed to have our wedding here mid December, but due to the COVID shut downs we were not able to. (Super bummed it is an amazing space and we were so excited to support a local small business.) The Hangout is a great one stop shop for your ceremony and reception for a smaller party. The food is catered by next door is amazing, fresh, homemade Italian food, and super affordable. Through the whole process Melissa, the owner, was amazing. She was really easy to communicate with and was willing to work on our special requests. I was so excited to have a location where as the bride I could just show up and enjoy this moment with my partner. She was so accommodating when everything shut down to still work with us for our floral arrangements through The Golden Garden, run by Tara. Our floral pieces were beautiful and perfect for our wedding. While we were so bummed COVID made it to where we couldn't do our wedding here, I have nothing but amazing things to say about Melissa, The Hangout, and her team.

I was here the other day for their Small Business Saturday event and it was great. I visited the week before and one of the business associates and the manager remembered me, which I found to be sweet. It's an eclectic store that's filled with products created by local artists. At the event, there was a book signing by an artist on his graphic novel, which was pretty cool, a DIY apothecary, and different sales due to it being Small Business Saturday. It has a wonderful vibe that I highly recommend visiting. I do not know how it is as an entertainment venue though, but as a shopping place it's great!

Not only this boutique is cute and sells refreshments, their cashiers go above a beyond expectations. I had missed placed a pair of earrings I wanted to purchase. The two cashiers (Kelly and Shira) spent a good amount of time searching for the earrings. After some time with no luck, they ask for my information just incase they found them later they could contact me. A couple hours later they found them. Needless to say I ecstatic that these earrings will remind me of the two sweetest individuals I will have ever had the privilege meeting. 💕 Thank you again, Kelly and Shira for everything. If you are ever in Long Beach please check this boutique out.
