They were technically closed but the door was open , ( had a young man on the drum kit ,3rd lesson and was coming along ) I introduced myself , Skip was very nice and accommodating .He informed me of open mic night , I'm looking forward to laying some southern blues slide guitar downtown!! Great experience! The use of the adjoining room for a small wedding was absolutely perfect - especially due to the fact that it was all last minute!!! I highly recommend this wonderful place! The owner is a pleasure to work with and very helpful at bringing your vision to life!

Skip has put together a wonderfull shop. Bit he musical instruments and a place for lession that address both concept and performance. The location in historic Marysville is a great area as we are experiencing an arts and music renasance of sorts. The cafe is quite different as it is set in a live concert style including a live concert stage. Quite often tge y have live locasl bands playing and they host an open Mic night throughout parts of the year. If you have a need or desire to play or locate live sound equipment at a decent price stop by and see Skip.

This is a great place with a very comfortable atmosphere. Skip goes out of his way to help customers to save money. When I was there playing one of the awesome Backporch acoustic guitars that he carries and a gentlemen came in looking to buy an adapter he thought he needed for one day and Skip let him borrow the right adapter. He did not know this gentlemen and Skip just said, bring it back when you are done using it.
